Oh, the plastic isn't pathetic - they are actually well made. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's pretty good but nothing special *by J***A on March 13, 2024* I do like the idea of this product --- it definitely is a nice addition for compartment lightning in e.g. gloveboxes while supposedly durable and waterproof, those are great (though haven't tested myself) ! However, I do have some issues. 1). the quality control is questionable. I bought a 3-pack and the package was factory-sealed and yet every single one item had something slightly different about it. One had a looser flap than the other and the third one was too blindingly bright compared to the other two. So make sure to unpack and check out all your lights since some may work better for your application than others. Next, 2). it's too fat ! given the tiny LED there is no reason it can't be closer to the size of a quarter ALL AROUND --- just power it by one coin battery. This way it wouldn't cut as much into the space it's illuminating ! 3). I find the flap design unnecessarily complicated and inferior to a simple button or lever switch ! --- in the OFF state the flap can wiggle around making noise and unlike a button you need two fingers to operate it. After all it's called a "Button lamp" why in the world is the toggle a flap ??! and 4). lastly, while it does provide enough light, the beam is far from all-directional and sometimes it's necessary to rotate to find the best LED position.
