The only problem I have is the price. I could have the Japanese red bean paste is a lot cheaper!

Chewy and pleasant red bean flavor.

I had never had a mochi rice cake before, and I was so happy to try this one. It's texture is something I can't even compare. It is pillowy soft and chewy at the same, but it's also lighter than anything else I've had that's pillowy soft and chewy. I guess kind of like a marshmallow is the closest I can think of, but denser. The flavor is kind of neutral and then the red bean, which is sweet, brings the flavor. I enjoyed these and now want to try the other flavors, especially the one with coconut.

This is a really tasty snack. It is sweet and soft. The filling is great as is the sticky soft mochi. Fantastic Asian snack.
