Excellent! Just use strong pressure when sealing
Excellent product! Beautifully simple and intuitive design Pros: Major cost savings, easy to use, can customize coffee. Cons: time intensive (each cup takes about 70-90 secs, plus time to wash pods, grind beans, etc.) NOTE: seal the foil with very strong pressure to avoid issues After over 50 uses with no issues, I'm confident that this works perfectly if you use it right. The original pod's foil must be cut off perfectly - easy if you guide the blade with your thumb and forefinger. The pod's rim must be cleaned thoroughly, dried completely, and entirely free of coffee ground dust - the replacement foils may leave a sticky residue, and if this isn't cleaned off it will collect coffee dust that in turn damages the seal and causes leaking. My biggest tip: apply very strong pressure when tamping down the foil seal. Light pressure leads to a poor seal, which causes the leaking issues some reviewers report. When strong pressure is applied, the foil seal wraps around the lip of the pod and effectively seals it to prevent leaking.

Perfect for refilling
Easy to use and lets me refill with my coffee of choice. It comes with everything you need including a little razor cutter to remove the original foil from pod. When filling with I just lightly tap the pod holder on the counter to level out the coffee. The holder also has little ridges that serve as a guide when placing the foil down, then a couple of turns with the lid and it’s sealed all the way around. I’ve made 8 cups of coffee with 2 different pod sizes and it works well. Definitely worth the purchase.

Saving money one cup at a time
I’ve been using this reusable pod kit with my Nespresso Vertuo and it works really well. It’s super easy to fill and the aluminum foil lids seal nicely. My coffee comes out strong and tastes just as good as the original pods. I like that it saves money and cuts down on waste. Definitely worth it if you use your machine a lot.

Clever, easy to use device
I rarely give any review a perfect score. This is a nice option for my Nespresso. I recently found a coffee I am fond of but did not want to stop using my Nespresso machine. With this, I can fill the cleaned, used pods with my coffee grounds and seal the pod with the aluminum cover. The coffee maker works great with this set up. The overall cost per cup is about 50 cents less using my coffee grounds vs purchasing Nespresso pods . I was not looking for less cost per cup, I was looking to brew my new found coffee while still using the Nespresso machine. The only difference I have found is that there is not as much crema created, but my coffee tastes wonderful brewed in the Nespresso. The set up is simple to use. Cut the cover off a used Nespresso pod and clean it out. If you use the razor tool included you can cut a clean circle around the edge. Set the clean, dry, empty pod into the pod holder. Fill the empty pod with coffee grounds, make sure the grounds are not on the edge where the foil seal will rest. You can use the small brush to dust it clean. Use a foil seal to cover the pod and use the molded top of the pod holder to press it into place. Do not fold the foil edge over the rim to a point where it will cover the lip under the rim. The code under the rim of the pod is what the Nespresso machine reads to brew a correct cup of coffee for the pod size. After brewing, I have had the pod stick when I open the top to drop it into the used pod holder. A simple push will release it from sticking due to the sticky seal on the foil. Cleaning those pods again is simple and I have a nice rotation of pods with my own coffee grounds. Overall I have been satisfied with this clever device.

Great product
Ive refilled multiple pods and every one has worked flawlessly. Ive even had a few that I did not get aligned well and thought the seal might lift during brewing. They still held and brewed a perfect cup. The adhesive is strong and holds a seal. The thickness feels thinner than whats originally on the pods but non have punctured or torn. The size is perfect just enough overhang that it leaves room for error on my part but not so much it obscures the barcode. Im extremely satisfied with this brand of products.

Works great for a fraction of the price
I was very skeptical about this product because the price was very good and to buy these already made is very expensive. Ground expresso is reasonably priced so to make these pods you can save a lot of money. One thing to remember is you will need old used pods to work with. This kit does not come with the tin cup to place the coffee into. You must use previously used ones. Wash them out good and dry them real good. Follow the instructions and you will find its super easy to make these pods yourself. After you have a cleaned out tin cup, put the coffee espresso grinds in the cup pat them down, put them in the container, brush off any grinds on the edge, place the sticky label that comes with the kit over the cup, put the lid on and twist applying pressure at the same time. I found it helpful after the cup has been pressed to make sure the edges are curled under as you can see in the picture. This helps keep the foil top on securely. The taste is amazing and tastes just like the ones store bought for a fraction of the price. I also add a little bit of cinnamon powder in the bottom of the cup before putting the espresso grinds in for a touch of added flavor.

This reusable pod kit is fantastic! It was really easy to use, and it works perfectly with my Nespresso Vertuo machine. I love that it saves me so much money compared to buying disposable pods, and it feels great to cut down on waste. The seals stick well, the coffee comes out great, and cleanup is simple. Definitely worth it if you want to enjoy your own coffee blends and save money in the long run.

Very useful, but appreciate putting more efforts in the packaging as I received it almost ruined.

Works great! Bit of a learning curve, but once you have it down it's easy to use. Put the cleaned capsule in the kit holder and then fill it. Clean the coffee dust off of the edge to insure new foil can stick down properly. Use the notch to align the foil to get the best fit.

This product works great and allows you to use your favorite coffee. Don't get me wrong, I love my Nespresso, but I like to be able to drink the coffee I buy here and there as well. Plus, this makes it A LOT cheaper. It is a bit fiddly at first, but once you get the hang of it, there is no problem. Fits easily in the machine as well. I know some of these things don't. Pays to get the old coffee out as soon as possible, as it goes moldy in the pod.

I have made 2 batches of 12 pods. A couple of tips in making the pods. You need to over fill the cups and use the flip side of the top to press the coffee down into the pod. If you don't the coffee will come out weak. Secondly after putting the lid in place you need to pinch the sides all around to ensure a good seal. I have not had any leakage so far. Now the cost: I have a 12 cup Cuisinart Grind and Brew. I set it at Strong 12 cup grind and made 2 batches which produced 0.3 lbs of ground coffee. This was enough to fill 12 pods. Beans cost $25 CAD for 2 lb bag or $3.80 for the 12 filled pods or $0.32 per pod. Lids are $0.10 each giving a total cost of $0.42 per pod; a saving of $0.93 per pod versus the Nesspresso pod order. I usually order 100 pods so I'm saving $93 plus GST. Time to fill pods after everything is ready to go, was 20 minutes for 10 pods or 2 minutes per pod. Lastly the supplied lids peal off so the pods can easily be reused.
