Good by British standards
At £7.45 for a 100g packet this might be seen as expensive in the UK, but, realistically, this is a very cheap loose leaf Chinese jasmine green tea.I have imported loose teas from China for at least 12 years and paid anywhere from twice this price all the way up to about 15x as much.Considering this is a very cheap, pre-imported loose leaf tea, I am trying to be less biased in my review. Realistically I would say this is among the higher end of what I might find in tea shops in the UK, but anyone who wants to try good loose leaf teas should be importing them directly from the farm. This tea is brewed at 70c for a lighter taste. Anything higher than this will bring out too much astringency - not bitterness as commonly mistaken by many - and will make it somewhat undrinkable. It has a light jasmine scent and taste, and is not overpowering when drunk. If this is your first loose leaf tea, just assume that you will need to make a few drinks using this until you start figuring out how to make it right. It is a good tea, as I said, by British standards. If you go into any tea shop then their loose leaf green teas have likely sat in storage for longer than is ideal, and that is why people in this country generally don't like green tea. In contrast, this tea is better than many I have tried in British tea shops, but is still vastly inferior to sourcing fresh teas from farms.

very fresh flavor
This is the best green jasmine tea that I’ve ever had. It's got a very pleasing flavor and is strong enough but not overpowering. I make it in the evening while I work on my computer. The full body and decent caffeine keep me going. Overall, this is a great tasting tea at a very reasonable price. I will be re-ordering soon.

good taste and aroma
Jasmine tea is my absolute favourite for a very long time. I really like the jasmine aroma and the taste of the tea. Therefore, when I saw this one, I simply could not pass by without giving it a try.Jasmine is a very gentle tea, so that pouring boiled water directly to the tea leaves simply burns the leaves, leaving you with a tea, which is bitter and unpleasant to drink. Therefore, there are many techniques how to avoid it. My favourite way to brew it is to add some cold water to the leaves, so that when I add the boiled water later, the tea leaves are not in direct contact with the boiled water. This prevents them from "burning".I followed my above technique to make myself a coppa of jasmine tea from these tea leaves, and I was really satisfied with the outcome. The taste and aroma is really good.

My new favourite tea!
I love trying different types of tea, and green tea is one of my favourites. Years ago I used to buy green tea with jasmine teabags from my local discount supermarket, but for some reason I haven't drunk it in a long while, usually preferring either plain green tea or with lemon. I'm so glad I have now rediscovered jasmine green tea - in its natural form, not in teabags. The smell when I opened the bag was divine! The tea leaves are of a good size, and clearly of premium quality. The tea is a lovely pale colour and has a delicate, floral taste which is really refreshing. As jasmine is apparently known for its calming effects, I can see this becoming my favourite evening drink. One other thing I particularly like about this Jasmine Queen tea is the clear and precise instructions about how to make it. I have always known that you should use off-the-boil water with green tea, but most instructions say something like "use water at 70° C". How do you know what temperature your water is?! The brewing guidance for this tea says: "Boil the water and wait 4 to 5 minutes before pouring it onto the leaves. Steep for 2 to 3 minutes. The brewing time and water temperature can be adjusted based on personal preferences." Those timings worked perfectly for me!

Floral And Refreshing
This large leaf jasmine tea is light and delicately floral, with a sweet taste. I always prefer to use less rather than more leaf when brewing tea, and that's especially important with floral teas. Use too much and they can become bitter, losing their subtle floral notes and becoming swamped with bitter woody notes. The instructions point you towards steeping the leaves with water at 70 degrees centigrade, again an important factor in nurturing the delicate scent and flavour. Steeped correctly, this tea is light and refreshing. It's not the finest jasmine tea I have consumed, but it's tasty. My faith in the product is tempered by the company packaging the tea. The web address given on the packet does not function, and the street address of the business shows a block of residential flats. So it appears that this is a virtual business. Tea is a commodity, and the provenance of the package contents is confirmed solely by the claims on the packet.

Great colour and taste
I am normally a coffee drinker, but tea has taken a fancy!I can't compare it with other teas, but the taste is great, takes a wash to wake it up but after that it's lovely.I would say its best to watch a few videos online about how to use this tea to its potential as if you use it like"normal" English tea it will be terrible!

Nicely tasting jasmine tea
I like jasmine smell but tried jasmine tea maybe once before. This tea is definitely nice. It is light and has the hint of jasmine in taste. Not overpowering but afraid it is not for me. I seem not too like too flowery teas too much!Saying that, great to serve to guests, especially those who love jasmine tea!Brews very well and develops really lovely light colour.
