NOTE: I found this description is WRONG. The SD4500 is a 3.5Volt battery, NOT 3.6. I called J&J to have them verify there description and the noob there just said "Our site must be correct"... I then asked the other reviewer on this product and he confirmed the writing on the battery is 3.5, I again can verify this is 3.5Volt.It WILL 100% work with: Canon PowerShot SD4500IS 10 MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD, Brown , it charges in the charger that comes with the camera also. I got this from J&R Music, they where terrible at telling me when it shipped (this is NOT amazon's fault, actually Amazon sent me a email saying they had not gotten notification from J&R Music about it shipping) but I did end up getting it inside of 1.5 weeks of ordering it. Pros: Last MUCH longer, this is seat of the pants review I did nothing scientific to say it lasts longer other then I use this Camera 90% video 10% stills (I use my XTI DSLR for stills). I took all of Xmas this year on one charge of this battery and it still have life left (I had 30 minutes of video that day). Neutral: I can not say if its the camera or the battery but on Xmas the camera in the area of the battery got EXTREMELY hot after doing all that video. I will try to do the same with the Canon battery, personally I think its the battery as it discharged for that long of a period got hot, but again nothing to prove this. Recommendation: I will be buying a second one in the next month as a backup to this one for long recording sessions.

Totally worth the extra money. Battery lasted all day for me on vacation and I swapped it out in the charger with my other battery each evening. They do take a few hours to recharge so plan to charge over night. Always good to have an extra battery on you!

Ordered this to supplement the short lived battery that came with my canon. Product works as described. Is comparable to the more expensive cannon battery that came with my camera. Wish the battery packed more power so that it would last longer.

It worked a few times, but after that wouldn't hold a charge. I will buy other brands and hope for better performance.

I bought two and both of them have started falling apart. The bottom is starting to come off and gets stuck in the camera after the first use. Once I got it out the dark grey plastic almost came all the way off. Its cheaply priced for a reason.
