The 5* are for the sophistication of the gel and it's presentation. The literature is also quite informative and explains why this form of turmeric is more concentrated on absorobtion than the traditional powder or "chips' counterpart. Placed under the tongue and sucked slowly, it goes from the buccal cavity under the tongue directly into the blood stream. When eaten and routed through the digestive system, however, about 50% is lost by the time the curcumin gets into the blood stream. The Turmgel, therefore, delivers a powerful punch directly into the bloodstream at a high concentration. With the well-known and researched benefits of turmeric this modern variant of turmeric or our "haldi" has much to recommend it as a means of attacking inflammations which are s source of problems. Asthma being a case in point. Lastly, as a general contribution to well-being and health in the form of a single, simple pastille, it can only do good and cause no harm.

Very good product. Have ordered several times. A bit expensive though. Best to look for a deal on them.

I ordered 100 lozenzies today and received a call back from suplier or Mfg that flavour is tulsi is it ok for me? I asked if main active is Curcumin plz send but the person was not trained enough to respond as “ yes active substance is turmeric ( curcumin ), I would hv not cancelled my 100 tabs order, see the importance of regular technical training’s to the call center staff. He kept on arguing that flavour is orange or tulsi what u want , I said if curvumin is main active send any flavour but at last he made me to cancel order

I had used earlier the eucalyptus and the orange flavor Tumgel turmeric lozenges. I am happy that the seller added one more favor to the range - it tastes really nice. I hope more flavors will come in future!

Turmeric-tulsi lozenges are soothing and taste good. However they are very slippery (because they are gel) and I almost aspirated one, almost causing choking. Definitely Not recommended for children (as advised in the literature).

Good product.. They claim it is sugar-free.. It's better they reveal what sweetner has been used.
