Very surprised at the so many poor rating for this product. Am happy with the purchase. It does basic job of securing items (my bike helmet) without the need for me to carry it around. The lock too seems okay and does not give any trouble. Strongly recommend this for anyone looking to buy.

My review after 2 months of usePros: durable, flexible and lightweight.Cons: difficult to insert the key as its star shaped key does not fit quickly have to try in different ways. Get corroded easily. Not stainless steel used or may be or poor quality.

It does not look that great. Ok for general use. If you frequently park your bike in a location where theft is very common and frequent you should not trust this lock. However if the situation is otherwise you can give it a try. The material of the product is not that bad but it is not very good as well. I mean once you have it in your hands you will sort of feel as if you yourself can make such a lock in your house. Moreover the length is not what I expected it to be. Overall length may be around 1 and 1/2 feet. If you have spent more than 1500 on your helmet I will recommend go for a lock with superior quality. Let me know if you need images.

I bought it because it was cheap and for the price you cannot complain much. Although two problems I can see with this product:1. The key only goes one way...you need to fiddle around to get it in correctly.2. The locking mechanism seems fragile. I havent tried to pry it open but I would not be surprised if it opens easily on pulling hard.Also, it doesn't auto-lock. You need the key to lock but it is something you should expect for the price. Decent enough for keeping your helmet safe.

After a lot of research to buy a good helmet lock online, I ending up buying this one and have no regrets. The item is sturdy and small enough to use as a helmet lock. There are many other locks that are way too lengthly and does not serve the purpose of a handy lock.Decreased one star because the only 'Con' I see is that maybe the lock could have been more sturdy. I felt like maybe if I pull it hard enough, it would unlock itself but certainly did not try it hard enough.Nevertheless this is a great buy for about Rs 150/- and useful as a helmet lock, cycle lock or even for your luggage.

Purchased this cable lock for my helmet. The main disadvantage is you still need to use the key to lock and it does not get automatically locked by a gentle press.So it is really inconvenient to put the keys and turn it and and push the lock to get it locked.The keys slot is very very small and you have to insert with much patience as it is getting stuck till the time you get comfortable on this ..I would certainly not recommend for helmets but if for any other purpose it is ok.
