This is review of HVAC digital manifold. I was so excited having a digital manifold that I did not realize it does not specialize on AC system for cars but it can function as such. I am a DIY or cars so I was expecting this for vehicle AC use but now I realize the cons that I will be pointing are mostly because it is for HVAC. Primarily is that the included access ports are for R134a which manufacturers started to not use around 2014 going onwards and switched to R1234yf. This is compatible with R1234yf but you need to purchase a separate 1234YF quick connectors but they explicitly mentioned this on the description. Another issue too is that it has no place to rest your quick connectors when not being used. They have a 1/4 compression end to hold the hoses but that means you have to remove the quick connect first which is not the case for most car AC manifolds. These reasons I cannot hold the product accountable but be aware that this may be a deal breaker for people that will use it only for cars. For the good things, it supports 92 refrigerants and I only know 4 (yes, this is not the right product for me). Most of them are used in HVAC systems and as far as I know, these hoses are the universal access to most of them so you may not need to purchase any other connection to use this. It is able to do basic diagnostics with pressure and temperature. The temperature gauge is something that I am new as these are not commonly used in vehicles. It has what I was really interested in which is a vacuum leak test. I like that it can show the initial value where you usually leave this for 1 hour and it will show any decrease in vacuum so you can diagnose if there is a leak. Highly appreciated, not a professional but I think this is great for professional or DIY HVAC repair.

The instructions contain tiny smeared print referring to text in greyscale images which cannot be read. The instructions do NOT tell you how to connect hoses to read vacuum. (Use the high-side and pump connections only) The gauge doesn't hold its zero offset and turns off during vacuuming. At one point I had vacuumed for 45 minutes and the gauge wouldn't show more than -0.096 vacuum. I gave up as it was getting late and connected the gauge in the morning when it read -0.107 without pumping again. This is supposedly beyond the gauges supported range. I missed my return window by a few days and hope I can recoup some of my loss by selling the hoses and adapters since the unit isn't suitable for use.
