I found it impossible to take the cap off to refill after using it the first time. The company sent me a replacement but I couldn't get them to work either. I had three different people try no luck. I actually broke one of them trying. I found a solution if you open the spout and use a funnel you can refill it. It's pretty difficult and takes 2 people but does work.
