Heat Shrink Tape for Shrinkwrap Operations - 2in.W, 180ft. Roll, Model Number 702W

This is awful heat shrink tape. First of all, it is very easy to overheat and melt. Secondly, it does not seem to shrink all that much prior to overheating and melting. Thirdly, the edge of the tape perpendicular to the length of the tape curls up when it shrinks. So if it you wrap a length of tape around something the same way its wrapped on the roll, the seam curls up. If you cut a piece off and wrap it around the opposite way, both edges of the tube you've made curl.If it there is some perfect temperature where it shrinks without melting and deforming badly, it must be very narrow and hard to find band. Maybe it works with some kind of fancy, precise temperature, heat shrink equipment, but if you plan on using a torch or lighter or heat gun or proximity to a soldering iron, good luck!

VERY STICKY = Good VERY thin "vinyl" so is VERY difficult to heat without melting tape. Prob is made for certain uses & works fine not for me (to hold elect cords in place on a metal tube). I will consider this to be used only as a STICKY, waterproof tape.

Disappointed, tape material is cheap & way too thin, doesn't handle heat well, melts with the heat gun on the lowest setting. Would not buy again.

You will need this and a 4" wide roll when you are learning to shrink wrap. This will help hold things in place while heating and repair holes.

This tape worked like a charm and did the job I was hoping for.

IT WAS JUST WHAT NEEDED TO DO THE JOB TO BE DONE I WOULDN'T USE ANYTHING ELSE BUT THIS TAPE
