Really comfortable
I tried my first pair of barefoot shoes about a month ago, and it did take some getting used to, because mentally I was expecting shoes to be very cushy. The footbeds provide just enough padding to absorb some shock. If I had to describe it, it's like wearing very sturdy socks. When I go outside, I can feel the changes in the ground surface like rocks, tree roots, the variations in the yard, but the thin soles protect me from sharp edges. The shoes themselves feel like they are very well made. They're very light and breathe really well, and the soles are quite grippy. The only times when I've felt like I didn't have good traction was on a smooth concrete floor with the epoxy coating, and it was wet. I have always liked wide shoes with open toe boxes, so these really fit the bill. Sizing was spot on with what I expect. I typically wear a size 10, ordered a size 10, and they fit great. I ordered the gray with black soles, and they look just like in the picture. I previously purchased the white with gum soles, and they also were as advertised. The only things I would mention are the shape of the tongue at the top is a bit odd for me as it comes up farther on my ankle than most shoes. It was annoying at first, because it would make contact with my skin and make me think that something had gotten caught on my foot. The other thing is that the speed laces are typical inelastic laces. I will probably replace them with elastic laces. Maybe Whitin can make this change.Overall, I really like these shoes and have received compliments on them. They seem to be a very good value, and even moreso since I purchased them when they were discounted.

Seriously the most comfortable shoes ever
I am so completely in love with these shoes. The second I put them on it was like walking on a cloud. My foot is a size 7 but my feet are wide so I end up going for size 8. I got an 8 in these and I have so much room on the sides now, but I could have gone for a 7 to fit the length of my foot. Regardless of size, they feel amazing. They’re cute, too, and seem to be made well. They’re super cute and easy to put on. Really good price. I can’t complain about anything except maybe the pull string. The string is longer on the left foot than the right so I can’t make the excess lay uniform. I’ll figure something out, but I’ll be wearing these forever from now on.

Flat footers
The product is well made and for the price and the idea of what they're trying to do the quality met that scale.I'm a person who lives life as barefoot as I can as often as I can so this latest crave of everybody getting grounded in barefooted for me has been multiple decades. If you're not used to this type of shoe it just takes a little while for you to wear it. It'll have a bumpily feel underfoot and that's okay. That's just how they're made.I ended up giving this pair to a nephew and he wears him everywhere he goes. They would not work for me because of foot problems that I had and I just figured let me just gift these.Like I said he absolutely loves his new shoes. The guy quit wearing tennis shoes and now he's more flat-footed.Hey, buy a pair walk around the house for more than 2 minutes maybe an hour or two without ruining the bottoms of them if you don't like them send them back. You'll learn a lot in a short amount of time.Blessings to all

Awesome value.
I ruck an absolute minimum of 220 miles per month, with a 22lbs HMG pack, every month…been at it for years and haven’t missed a single day in 363 days counting today. This is all asphalt and concrete mileage and, it absolutely wreck shoes no matter how much I spend on them. The solution is simple, divide the mileage & days by the money spent = the real value of the shoe.I had the Amazon brand barefoot shoes for about 8 months, just swapped to these bad-boys around 6-7 weeks ago.I get a solid 10 days per pair for $12-25 depending on sale and specials etc. and they fit really good.Highly recommended.

Tough Mudder Race
First off, these shoes were incredibly comfortable it was a new experience for me wearing shoes that felt like I was bare footed and keep that in mind when walking on rocks, because you will feel it. Putting these shoes on was as easy as slipping on a pair of socks they were true to size for my size 11 feet and I’m grateful how easily they could drain water and breathe afterwards. When I did my Tough Mudder race I found that these shoes kept me very stable on the trails from hills up and down to marshy swamps and surprised me being flexible while climbing.I would advise trimming the elastic laces I found them to be too long when I tightened and they seemed to dangle.
