Great Cpu, Much better price now
This cpu at launch wasn’t bad it was just priced a little high, i got mine at $280 with monster hunter wilds which i was going to buy anyway so it really made my purchase $220. If the 7800x3d was priced what it used to be got one for $300 I would say buy that or the 9800x3d if gaming performance is the most important thing for you. But the prices on x3d chips especially the 8 core models have skyrocketed and for price to performance the 9700x is a better choice if you want good performance that doesn’t break the bank. And these 9000 chips seem to run cooler than the 7000 series. I was very surprised my Firestrike physics score was higher on the 9700x over my older 5950x by 1000+. I have mine in a coolermaster nr200p max case with a 2080ti thats a placeholder until my asrock taichi 9070xt gets here.

Great choice!
I needed to upgrade an old Intel CPU and decided to switch (back) to AMD. This CPU does NOT disappoint. Great quality, high speed, low power dissipation so no need for liquid cooling and built-in graphics. What more could you want?

A life saving upgrade
For price to performance it’s actually very good I’d prefer a more core one but for the price this works more than amazingly it can run hot even with a 6 pipe air cooler if under higher loads I haven’t tried aios but it never stays over 80 generally and runs fast and smooth 90% of the time

good cpu
good cpu, like it better than my 7700x. Runs cool and faster than my 7700x, I get more fps so i think it was a good upgrade for the price

Stable and Cool
Not going to write on the technical aspects of the CPU (there are plenty of videos and articles available for that). I will simply note that I popped this into my b650 mobo and after some bios updates and a windows 11 update, everything is stable and performance is what I expect. Know what you can expect from this chip , and it won't let you down (at least as of the time of this writing). Oh! With the low power consumption, the temp is super easy to control (let's my have a pretty quiet fan curve).

Good Performance and Runs Cool.
The Ryzen 7 9700X has been a good upgrade for my PC. This 8-core, 16-thread processor delivers a balance of gaming performance and productivity. I can run most games at a consistent 150 FPS. Whether I’m playing graphically intense AAA titles or editing video, everything runs smooth as silk. One of the standout features is its low TDP, which makes it incredibly easy to cool. Even during extended gaming sessions, the temps stay well under 85°C with a standard air cooler. No need for an elaborate cooling setup—it’s efficient and reliable right out of the box.The unlocked design also offers room for tweaking, and I’ve had no issues with stability during overclocking. It’s perfect for gaming, streaming, and even productivity tasks like video editing. If you’re looking for a processor that balances power, efficiency, and value, the Ryzen 7 9700X is an good choice. I couldn’t be happier with its performance

Great CPU! Using it/tuning is easy via software.
(Note: I am running my PC at max 1080P since I do not have hardware capable of 4K Quality.)Powerful CPU paired with a SAPPHIRE PULSE RADEON RX 7800 XT that both communicate very well with, run my games and software at impressively high quality, and overall provide me with a very responsive system. Of course I am running this at 1080P as mentioned in my note but this CPU has been pretty good to me.
