sturdy knife scabbard!
I wanted this to house my game knives for processing and it holds 4 pretty large knives in it. The scabbard is easy to put together and is very sturdy while still being somewhat lite weight. The clips holds true and goes under a belt and slides over the top for maximum hold. I have only used this 5 times and it performs better than other options. It is more money than the others but in this case I think you are getting quality plus the name. Regardless I do not feel bad about this purchase. If I was a day to day butcher I would want this in my collection to use.

Carry all
This is the scabbard to have for the mobile butcher carrying knives and a hook. Ease of product disassembly allows for complete cleanup.

Perfect to use while dressing out game.
Perfect to use while dressing out deer and you're switching between knives instead of setting them down somewhere and taking a chance on cutting yourself. All your knives in one place and within easy reach. Simple to clean with the removable plate. Little on the spendy side which is why the 4-stars.

all the guys at the shop have one
I've used a little plastic scabbard for the last seven years. The problem is that I'm getting old, and the knife sharpener guy only comes once a month. I need to sharpen my knives every two weeks. A good idea for meat cutters: buy two sets of knives, if your store doesn't pay for a sharpener to come very often. And buy your boning knives six months apart, so you can have two different sets. The combination I have now: 10" granton cimeter(New); 10" breaking (Ten months old); 2-8" breaking(one is new, the other is ten months old); 2-6" Semi Stiff( one is NEW and the other is a toothpick, buceause its so old.) Don't go without sharp knives, trust me, it sucks. Long term shoulder problem suckage.

Convenient. Having all your knives at your side instead ...
Convenient. Having all your knives at your side instead of walking table to table to get them. The newness does ware off. It is just a storage for my knives now as I am a meat department manager an always have to be everywhere all at once. If you stand at a table a cut meat though, this is exactly what you want to have.

Poorly, Broken, Used Item
Item did not look like the picture provided. Item arrive crushed, flatten, broken, frame is bented, and random oil, grease stains. Clear signs of damage and USED item. The bottom was not closed so knife points are exposed risking cuts to the user legs.
