Computer Speakers with Subwoofer for Desktop, 2.1 PC Speakers with 5.5-inch Subwoofer, Gaming Stereo System Supporting Wireless/AUX/3.5-RCA Inputs, 60W

These were purchased for the small amphitheater at the school my husband teaches. He loves the efficiency and the sound quality. They were a breeze to connect and provide exactly what he needed for an open and cavernous space that is not very large. They work equally as well in his classroom and office.

After arriving and using them for a while, I felt compelled to write a review because they are an exceptional value. These speakers are truly worth every penny. I keep them in my study and use them for occasional reference and background music. Bear in mind that I wasn't expecting as much power as the large Klipsch speakers or the main stereo. However, for office or laptop speakers, these are excellent. The sound is crisp and clear, and I can detect some nuances. I don't consider myself an audiophile, but I know what sounds good, and these speakers deliver. My subwoofer isn't as lackluster as some reviewers have mentioned. I placed it next to my second monitor instead of on the floor, and it sounds superb. All the components have wires long enough for my needs. Right now, I'm playing Mood Indigo jazz, and I can't believe how great it sounds. I turned up the laptop volume to 60% and adjusted the treble and bass settings. At high volume, the sound remains clear, the speakers don't buzz, and the bass stays balanced. Generally, you get what you pay for, but the sound quality of these speakers rivals that of more expensive ones. Of course, every environment will produce a different sound. I tried placing them at different angles, and the sound source was very full. They sit on my desk and don't take up much space. The black wood grain cabinet complements my desktop. I also tried playing some retro disco music, and the bass still sounded great, with just the right amount of volume and balance. Having tested different types of songs, these speakers seem extremely versatile as they sounded excellent with the various types of music I tried. For this price and this kind of performance, it's truly worth it for me to leave a review on Amazon recommending it. If you're on a tight budget or simply don't want to spend more money than necessary, these speakers are a great choice, and I think you'll be pleased with them.

Do not buy this is trash. I opened the box and when I started to take the speakers out the subwoofer had some problems with a rattling sound. I opened the subwoofer and found the magnet that was attached to the woofer was floating around in the enclosure.

Good sound well worth the money

They are loud enough and great for the lower price.

Not sure why there is a subwoofer included with this. With the bass all the way up it’s not much better than one of the cheap free Bluetooth speakers you get everywhere else. Maybe twice as good as your cell phone speaker. Would not recommend.

This speaker set has pretty good range for a desktop PC. This was better than the Logitech set I had for the last one 10 years. This has a deeper base and good midrange. You can hear it lacking if you turn your volume to your 100%- again still has much better sound than Logitech. Very happy with the upgrade!

Managing expectations with the price these speakers aren't bad (I had a gift card for this purchase). Just don't expect any real amount of bass even with the sub, it's essentially just a RGB and power delivery station for the lil bookshelf type speakers. With that in mind the speakers themselves produced decent enough sound and doesn't seem to clip or produce static "noise" unless turned up way high. Also the added input options are a nice thing to have (USB and SD card) and I can see where it'd be useful though I am not likely to ever use it for that. If you have money to spare spend just $20-$30 extra and you can have a much louder and more rounded sound stage with a bit more bass as well, if this is all you have to buy some speakers then they aren't half bad.
