I’m a huuuuuge hojicha fan, I almost want to gate keep this! Incredibly worth the price, the quality of the powder is equivalent to the ones I buy back in Asia. Tastes authentic and I love making homemade lattes at home for myself and for my guests as well

Good quality with very strong earthy and nutty flavour! The hotter the water the stronger the flavour.

Quite a strong heavy and smoky hojicha flavour ~ not my preference but may be good for those who prefer that!

Unlike non-roasted green tea, which can be grassy and quite bitter, this tea offers a distinct roasted, slightly vegetal flavour and only a touch of bitterness. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky, with no grit or harsh aftertaste. What I particularly enjoyed is how balanced the taste is—neither harsh nor overly bitter or smoky. It has a warm, comforting quality that regular green tea lacks. Another plus is that it has lower caffeine than unroasted green tea, making it perfect for an evening cup. It also feels gentler on the stomach compared to the sometimes harsh, astringent green teas that can cause me acid reflux and irritation. All in all, I found the roasted green tea enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone who prefers milder flavours.

What I really love about this Hojicha is its smooth, roasted flavor. It’s so different from the grassy taste you usually get with green tea. This one has a deep, nutty, and slightly sweet taste. I'm sensitive to caffeine, so I love that this tea is low in it. It gives me a nice boost without the jitters. I even drink it in the evenings because it won’t keep me up at night. A friend tried it and loved it so much she switched from her usual evening tea to this one. One thing to keep in mind, though, the package says to use a teaspoon of the powder per serving, but I found that just half a teaspoon gives plenty of flavor.

This is the best hojicha I’ve tried so far AND it’s organic AND 100g for a GREAT price!!!!! It’s very nutty and smooth! I don’t need to add anything to it to enjoy it and doesn’t taste like bong water. I highly recommend this hojicha!!!!

It tastes so good!!! I was afraid of tasting or smelling something fishy as some people commented but it a pwrfect beginner hojicha. Nutty and roasted, not that bold but not that bland, a perfect balance. it reminds me a bit of dark chocolate. I also heard that theres a bit of a caramel aftertaste but i think because of the milk I used (fresh milk) I couldnt taste it. The colour of the hojicha is dark a good sign of a good hojicha. I dont usually write reviews but this is so good :)))

Delicious. Our family enjoys it hot or cold, mixed with oat milk or regular milk. Would recommend.

Hooked at the jump😭, this is such a nice subtle roasted flavour. Definitely need to try if you want less caffeine from a matcha, but need a little afternoon pick me up that will let you sleep in the evening. I’ve tried other brands but always come back to this one, very high quality love her downnn. Love making it with some roasted black sesame powder for a little nuttier and deeper flavour

Ok flavor, like a deeper, more earthy green tea. Price is a bit high in my opinion.
