It is compatible with only 52MM 0.43x wide angle lens and easily screws on to the front of your lens with lens detachable properties. Review: Good product - Both the macro portion and the wide angle portion works as advertised The macro portion can be partnered with extension tubes to get really close focussing distance. Review: Nice product - Gives wide angle and nice quality pics. Satisfactory images. You can use existing lens and apply this lens adapter without needing to buy costly fisheye lenses. The macro part of the lens also works well to capture macro details of small subjects Worked well with my d3200nikon nikon and 18-55mm nikor lens

A good product to experiment with wide angel
Build material is good, but the macro lens is not working with auto focus mode. The wide angel is quite good. But I'can't step down my focal length below 24mm otherwise a black circle appears in the image. Picture quality doesn't degrade and one interesting out of the box advantage (to me) it adds a nice barrel effect (which I usually love to use in architecture photography)

I loved it
Glass is clear enough. Added on a 24mm crop lens for canon. Got a view of 16mm. Edges are blurry and soft. Barely noticeable though. Can be worked in post prod. A little heavy and the macro piece is just crap.

HIGHLY recommend! There, I said it again. I purchased a 43mm-52mm Metal Step Up Ring to attach this lens to an old Canon VIXIA R80 for my wide-angle shots. After reading complaints on all of the built-for-VIXIA (43mm) wide-angle lenses showing the (circular) outer rim, I wanted to make sure and buy a larger lens. This works perfectly! I've attached stills from two videos: one with, and one without this lens. And sorry about my filthy picture window; it's still too cold to step out and wash it! LOL The first thing to note: It's heavy. And I mean that in a GOOD way! It's absolutely solid! Metal housing, quality glass on both the macro and wide-angle lenses, and a secure fit where they are threaded to each other, to the step-up ring, and to the camera. The second thing: It comes with little extras that I had not been expecting: A rubber lens cover that press-fits securely to the front of the lens, and a vegan-leather (PU) carry bag, both of which I will be using even though I didn't know I needed them. The front of this lens is a good 85mm across, which would be the main reason why this baby is so heavy! The third thing: It is definitely fish-eyed. I left in part of the window frame in the wide shot (top right), so you could see the amount of curvature. Remember that I'm shooting through a sized-up 43mm fitting, so this is really just the center of the 52mm Altura lens. And once again, I HIGHLY recommend!

Bought this for my Panasonic hc-wx970 4k camcorder and it works great, the widest the camera zooms out to is 30mm, and I wanted something that if I recorded myself at arms length it would be zoomed in all the way on my face, this does the job and almost has a fisheye effect at 4k resolution. Good wide angle at 1080p, even better at 4k, my camera has a 49mm filter thread so I use a 49-52mm step up ring. Would highly recommend. And will add photos when I get home

It arrived a few days earlier than expected which was perfect because I was hoping i could use it on our camping trip and i was able to. So far so good. I really like the macro part. It really captures sharp macro shots. There's a little soft edges around the focus when you use macro though but that's fine for me. I think i was too close when i did that shot. It still doesnt compare to wide angle lenses but this product is a great converter. It still gives you a wider angle but not as much as I would like. Over all, im satisfied. I cant attach a copy of the photos i took with wide angle. I havent processed them yet except for the one i shot in panorama and these two macro shots as well.

I was searching the market for a wide angle lens. I want to do more vlogging so it’s a must with the Nikon D5100. I’m currently using the standard VR 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G. All of the lenses I found were way out of my price range. Until i saw this product. The Alturo Photo .43X WIDE ANGLE HD LENS ATTACHMENT. The delivery was pretty fast two days with my Prime account. The product is made of metal and the build is very nice. It’s very sturdy and durable. It do any feel cheap. The look of it does not match with its price. I paid 24.99 for this product and it looks more expensive than that. I’d say at least $75 The quality of the wide angle is perfect for vlogging. It does add a bit of weight to the camera as a whole when holding the unit with one hand. However a two handed photo shot should be fine. You might need a strap for this. The BONUS detachable SUPER MACRO lens was an awesome surprise. I didn’t know i needed a macro lens until i used it and saw the detail in the photos. Great addition. So that’s two lenses for $25 bucks. When i was looking to pay over $200 for one. Pretty great deal in my opinion. The only reason i did not give it 5 stars is because of the weight. And also the fact that you can’t just attach the Wide Angle lens to your lens, you have to have the Super Macro attached. But u don’t need the Wide Angle to use the Super Macro. Not sure how u would accomplish this: lessen the weight and make them both independent units. Overall, i would say get it. For $25 bucks it’s a steal. Nothing to lose with this purchase. I will upload more photos once i have them done. Here are a few of the lens attached to the camera and on their own. Good product. Great Price. Great Quality.
