Heroic. Iconic. Unstoppable. Armed with her Lasso of Truth and imbued with the power of the gods themselves, Princess Diana of Themyscira—known to the world as Wonder Woman—is one of the greatest superheroes in history. But who is she… really? Not even Wonder Woman herself knows for sure. Diana’s links to both the desertcarts and the Gods of Olympus have been severed. Her memories are a tangle of contradictions that even her lie-detecting lasso cannot untangle. To solve the riddle of her origin, she must embark on her greatest quest of all: finding a way back to her vanished home. To get there, she must team up with her greatest enemy, the feral beast-woman, Cheetah. Will this unlikely alliance shine the light of truth on Diana’s darkest secrets, or bury them—and her—forever? Find out in Wonder Woman Vol. 1: The Lies —exploding from the blockbuster DC Rebirth event! Legendary Wonder Woman writer Greg Rucka ( Batwoman: Elegy ) makes his triumphant return to the character for the first time in years and joins renowned fantasy artist Liam Sharp ( 2000 AD) for one of the most momentous stories in Diana’s history! Collects Wonder Woman #1, #3, #5, #7, #9, #11 and the Wonder Woman: Rebirth one-shot. Review: Very nice! - A simple story but a powerful one. Clean lines of the artwork make it a joy to read. A clever twist on the usual wonderwoman story. Is everything really as it seems? But in the end a story of how best friends dont give up on each other. Review: Best Wonder Woman Story - Beautiful artworks, Greg Rucka at his best.

Leaves me confused.
Is it just me or did anyone else find Diana, the Wonder Woman sketches to be inconsistent? She is totally different, I mean the face, in some frames. Ironic to mention, all other charaters’ faces are pretty consistent. And most of the frames are close up of the characters with dialogues. I suppose it saves sketching time. Apart from these, the story sure is interesting to read. I picked this up to warm myself up for getting into hard core comics like Batman, Superman, spider-man etc. It did the job. Kindle’s unique feature of reading comics frame by frame was pretty incredible.

Wondy is back
After disastrous new 52 which replaced WW with a female Hercules and rapist Amazons, Greg Rucka finally brought back old Wondy.

Aguanta la comparación con el tandem Azzarello-Chiang
Un bajón respecto al volumen anterior pero de momento aguanta bien, veremos en siguientes tomos si se puede decir lo mismo.

Rucka belebt Wonder Woman wieder.
