These chopped dates have a rich, deep brown colour with a lovely, subtle sheen. They are chopped to a perfect consistency—neither too coarse nor too fine—and have a slightly sticky texture that feels just right. They are plump and moist without being overly so, just pliable enough without clumping together. Originally, I planned to use these dates in cooking and baking, but after tasting them, I found them irresistible on their own. Now, I blend them with other dried fruits and chopped nuts, shaping the mixture into small balls. This makes for a mouthwatering alternative to biscuits for tea time. The dates have a lovely tender and chewy texture, with a satisfying firmness. Biting into them reveals a caramel-like consistency that is neither too dry nor hard. Their aroma is an inviting blend of sweet, earthy notes with hints of caramel and vanilla. The flavour is a complex mix of caramel, honey, and delicate fruity undertones—not overly sweet or artificial, just deeply natural and satisfying. Plus, there are no pits or hard bits to contend with. In short, these chopped dates are absolutely delicious and of exceptional quality. They are a treat I would gladly recommend.

These chopped dates are really sweet with a soft texture, ideal for incorporating in cakes or adding in cereals for breakfast or just to eat as a snack, when craving for something sugary. Already chopped in small pieces, they are ready to use. I have used them in a banana, date and walnut cake and they were delicious. I have also added a handful in my porridge for sweetness instead of golden or maple syrup and it was perfect, very tasty. I am aware that this product is organic and a healthy choice however I think that they are overpriced. At £7.99 for 500g it is more than I would like. The packaging is really well thought out though. It comes in a well branded plastic pouch that can stand up and is resealable/recyclable.

These are lovely and sweet chopped dates which I have been experimenting with and have found so many ways to use them! First up they are just perfect as they are for snacking on, a small bowl with a movie is great! They are great for baking with, I've been adding less sugar to my recipe to counteract the sweetness of these and it's been working really well for me. I mostly use them as toppings however for yoghurt and for my overnight oats. They are chewy and sweet and just right against plain creamy yoghurt or oats! I really am enjoying these dates, they're just right for me!
