Worth the money
Sound quality is amazing. Listening to music via this feels fantastic. Build quality is quite good. The cable wire is robust. Is just a little heavy. The cushions provide good amount of comfort, not great though.

Great sound quality, bad with portability.. AT made the right compromises
So, one of the most popular pair of budget(agree or not) headphones. What about them? Really amazing sound quality according to me for the price.. Using them with my OnePlus 5 on HipHop preset and 90% volume level(out of the box setting was a bit shallow to my taste, and I couldn't push these above 70%, as it got a bit irritating) In order to really enjoy them, you would need to subscribe to a high quality streaming service(Spotify preferably, have tried gaana as well, but, the quality is not where closer to Spotify) Having told you about my setup, lets get into the things that I like about these headphones: - 5/5 on sound quality for the price, one can clearly differentiate the different instruments playing in the background, love the details - noise isolation(not cancellation) with standard earcups is good - build quality is pretty sturdy and the wire is held pretty sturdily as well. have used them for a couple of months only, but, I can confidently say that these headphones have been built to last.. - the headband is tight enough to hold it in the required position for as long as you want, and has pretty soft cushioning around it, so, no troubles there Now, coming to the the things that are a bit meh about these - the standard earcups are pretty uncomfortable in my opinion, I couldn't wear them for longer periods, so, had to get a new pair instead - the wire is pretty long, which can be a blessing, but, more of a curse in my case.. as I always have to keep it wounded and it looks stupid to carry it around - Also, this doesn't come with any carry poutch, so, you are on you own there All in all, it boils down to your preference (quality vs portability) I could live with the inconvience of carrying them around, so, went for these... so, it will all boil down to your preference (sound quality vs portability) Would definitely recommend this product

Absolute crisp top notch sound quality.. best companion for a listener!!
5 ⭐ for sound quality 4⭐ because of the comfort. Writing after 6 months of usage. This is an absolute best purchase you can have on a budget(I know what you think..though I said budget but I had to save up for three months to buy this for 4.5k INR. But compared to other studio monitor headphones and the sound quality youre getting for this price is just undeniable). I sincerely disagree with every single comments out there saying this doesn't have bass. If you're an avid listener and who listen to a lot of flac then you'll understand once you listen to this. So go for it. Even though they said it's flat sound but I could already feel decent amount of bass without changing any eq settings. If you want true flat sound I would say sennheiser is the choice. I have used sennheiser and Sony and this would come in the middle of both when it comes to bass but the sound quality is crisp af and top notch. And yes it does work great for movies too...I haven't played games much with this apart from one or two times.. and the wire is indeed quite long as mentioned in many other reviews...it can be a plus or minus depending on your purpose..for me it's okay as I sometimes use it with full length at home and I barely took it outside. But you can coil it up and use some velcro tape which I do sometimes..initially I felt it little bit tighter which is common for every headphones and as I have a big head but that was changed as I got used to it and it loosen up little bit and now fits perfectly without any discomfort which I experienced in the first two months. The only two drawbacks for me so far is that..one is the cushions tends to get your ears sweaty if you live in hot n humid place like mine. But inside an air conditioned room that wouldn't be much of an issue. Second thing is the small wire that goes between the headband and speakers on both side...that I felt like a poor design choice and gives me anxiety manytimes that if I'll break it somehow.

Great headphones for audiophiles and production
The Audio Tecnica M20x is the perfect headphone anyone is on the fence of buying it.. it's really good one. received on time and it really sounds great and truly emphasis on every single aspect of music, everything is well balanced and really enjoyable sound quality great for mixing mastering at this budget, first time purchased any product from audio technica and it is amazing, Design is plasticy but premium and cuisions for me are comfortable enough and simple no nonsense design is something which everyone can appreciate cable is way longer. remember this thing that it won't be very loud if you're using with mobile phones as it is a little high impedance 47 ohm headphone, works fine with laptops and computers, but audio interface makes it even better. clarity in the headphone is awesome, audiophiles will love this for sure only thing which is kind of bad is the no detachable cable and no sidewards movement of speakers. rest if you can save more go for its successors they are even better

Nearly flat audio, great monitors for the price-range.
Great and works as advertised. Almost flat audio, no bass boost. Good as a budget monitor. One suggestions for those buying it for use with a PC- please check out the Amazon exclusive variant of this one which has a shorter cable that is easier to manage -Audio-Technica ATH-M20x/1.6. Build quality is good. and materials appear to be durable. I am reducing one point for repairability due to fixed cable. A detachable cable would be appreciated more. Since it is closed back and has snug fitting silicone earcups, passive noise cancellation is good. This takes us to the next point: While the fit is nice, the snugness can lead to discomfort due to heat build up. You will find yourself getting warm within 10-20 minutes of use. Just somethign to be mindful of. In Kanpur's moderate weather of March, I find the need to ventilate periodically to cool off the ears and wipe the prespiration from the cups to prevent damage to them. I think this is common in all closed back, over the ear headphones, though. Audio levels: Something inexperienced users like me should be mindful of. This has a capable and precise driver and make sure not to exceed 60-70% (50 to be safe) mark if you don't know what to expect from the file. It can be very loud and can hurt your hearing.

Its affordable and meets what I Need… for now.
Its too tight feels uncomfortable after a short while of using as in, I feel warm and uncomfortable and my ears ache due to the gripping pressure of the headphone. Sound wise, its ok for my video and sound edit work… so far… but very uncomfortable to use longer than 10 minutes!! :((

Amazing headphones
Update - my main pair of headphones has finally seen its last day and here I am, as promised when I did this review, repurchasing these. I was secretly looking forward to mine failing I have to admit. Really comfortable to wear for long periods. The cord is a good length and they feel pretty robust and fairly light too. They fit well on different sized heads as you can easily adjust them and the sound quality is great too. I ended up returning them because I had lost my main pair and ended up locating them again so I no longer required these. However, if my main pair ever fails me this will be my go to for purchase again as I really enjoyed my time with them. There’s a lot of clarity in the sound which is exactly what I need when field recording. I also enjoyed the comfortability whilst recording for long sessions too. I’ve also had issues with headphones in the past always dropping off my head which is really frustrating. This wasn’t a problem with these at all. I’d highly recommend them and I’m sure I’ll be purchasing them again in the future once my current headphones fail eventually. I also think the price is really reasonable for these. What you get for the price is great.
