Bought these for work as now have to spend a lot more time on phone and needed to block out family, dogs, neighbours, cars etc. Worked perfectly and have had no issues in the several months of use. I can hear everything clearly, volume dial works well, the other people can hear me, conference calls etc no probs.Only issue I had is with the design of the Gigaset phone charging bas which covers the headphone jack when in the cradle. This would affect all headsets.

Purchased as a try out for a branch at a call centre for a national charity (as obviously we cannot use the phones and usual headsets). Looking to the feasibility for each volunteer having their own headset, which they bring in and plug in and use. This seems like a good solution.

Came in good time and in good condition.The quality of the headset and microphone are good.I reduced my overall rating by one star as the mute button needs to be pressed constantly to mute the microphone. When I release it, the microphone opens again. It would be far better if it was a 2 positions switch.

Very pleased with this product. I am hard of hearing and find it hard to hear using phone in one ear.My cordless phone has a 2.5 headphone jack so I decided to buy these to see if they improved the call.The loudness was improved so it achieved my goal but also much more comfortable when on long phone calls to friends and family, no more the arm stuck in one position while holding the phone and no more the phone stuck to the side of your face! Good value for the money.

For the price, great headset - does what it says on the tin and had been comfortable to wear.

This headset works great with my cordless phone. Even within the year ther was a fault but the customer service I received was very good and prompt and a replacement was sent out.

Always use this for calls now

I own several Plantronics CT14 and discovered that, while the phone (CT14) itself simply rocks, the headset is not the most durable item. It is also monaural and doesn't deliver the best sound. Plus, in this day and age of COVID and sprouting home offices and Zoom calls, replacement headsets for the CT14 are hard to come by. For those not familiar with the Plantronics CT14: It wirelessly connects to POTS via a base station - like other portable house-phone sets - but is only about half the size of a pack of smokes. It has a small display and dial buttons and I carry it on me all day long while roaming around the house, to both make and receive calls. It is also discontinued by the manufacturer, but still available if you look hard enough.I bought the "Wantek 2.5mm Telephone Headset Binaural with Noise Canceling Mic" as a replacement for the stock monaural headset that comes with the CT14. I found that it works perfectly with the CT14, even though it is not listed as being compatible with the CT14. Be aware of the model: I bought the one without quick disconnect since the CT14 is portable to begin with and there is no need to ever disconnect.What I LikeBinaural beats monaural hands-down.Sound quality is excellent. I also get way more volume than I ever got from the stock headset. This is a big plus for me as I suffer from hearing loss.Fit and adjustability is superb.I love the in-cable mute button which is much easier to use than the mute feature on the CT14.The volume adjust works well and the designers were smart enough to NOT allow the wheel to regulate to zero.I wanted to confirm compatibility with the CT14 and a few emails went back and forth between Wantek and myself: I commend the company for their responsiveness.Suggestions for ImprovementThe cable is a tad too long for my usage case but probably necessary for when you plug into a desk phone. Although, in that case, you would hopefully use the model with quick connect. Three cables of different length, that plug into the control, would cover this.An earlier model of the Plantronics had a feature called 'Firefly' which blinked a red light at the tip of the microphone while connected to a call. I always found that a great feature since it usually kept people from talking to me while connected.The cable clip is convenient. I would like to have it as part of the mote/ volume control unit.Overall evaluation: Worth every penny.

I do a lot of phone interviews, so I needed a really good headset, to give me strong volume and top-notch clarity. I've gone through several cheaper headsets, thought I'd give this one a try.Bottom line, it's a great headset. I like having audio in both ears. The volume control is handy, and gives me enough range - I usually have it set about halfway. The construction seems sturdy, though I am concerned about the soft covering on the ear pads. This is what usually wears out first. But after a few months' steady use, they're holding up well.My one gripe is the cord. It's so stiff that it seems to have a life of its own. It's always snagging on things, or jumping sideways into my coffee. And it has not softened up at all, over time. I can't begin to understand how anyone would think this was an appropriate type of cable for this application. With a nice soft cable, possible with a braided sheath for durability, I'd give this product 5 stars.Nonetheless, I'm satisfied overall. Sound quality was my primary criterion, and on that count this Wantek headset has exceeded expectations.

Ciao a tutti, questo prodotto l'ho preso, come faccio di tanto in tanto, a caso.Avevamo bisogno in famiglia di un prodotto un po' più funzionale e resistente del Trust che avevamo da 2,5 mm (questi ultimi, si rompevano facilmente all'attaccatura del filo ne ho presi 4 e nonostante le lamentele nessuno ha migliorato il prodotto) ed ho provato quindi, questa cuffia che sembra essere una "semi professionale" fatta apposta per i call center.Al momento fanno bene il lavoro, hanno tutte le caratteristiche che servono per chi rimane spesso ed a lungo al telefono, vedremo la durata, aggiornerò eventualmente se ci fossero problemi in merito... altrimenti vi consiglio l'acquisto!
