Good Hawkins aluminium Miss Mary 3 litre cooker
Thanks Amazon for timely delivery. I had to order it 3 times ( twice they delivered faulty n defective cookers with sharp scratch marks thus returned ). Third time I thought this is last time I'm ordering , ordered from seller " Hawkins Cookers Ltd. " , this seller , gave me good quality Miss Mary aluminium 3 litre cooker . It's small in size compared to my regular old 5 litre Hawkins cooker that we use for 4 persons home . Very very useful to make daily small quantity rice dal in seperate bought containers ( bought grid separater n 2 steel container utensils outside local shop as I could not find them on Amazon) placed in this cooker. It needs one or two full whistles on full flame n 5 minutes on low flame n close gas stove . Hot hot homemade rice dal for 1 person is ready ( in 15 minutes total time ) and this my happiness. I tried boiling potatoes in cooker , they were boiled in just 10 minutes. I would like to try dal khichadi, veg pulav n vegetables like spinach in it. Easy to clean . They give cooker body with lid it's aluminium material, whistle , rubber gasket ring, and recipe cook book inside package. When I tried to research online difference between Hawkins Miss Mary aluminium 3 litre cooker n Hawkins classic aluminium 3 litre cooker I didn't find much difference except the price for Miss Mary is less than that of Hawkins classic same size thus I went for Miss Mary .

Great for use on a butane camp.stove.
Hawkins canner is a quality product. I purchased this small size particularly to use in a grid down scenario where it would be used on a butane stove and provide a small quantity of food using a minimum of fuel. I must say that it works wonderfully. Getting used to it's pressure release is something to get used to though. Placing and sealing the lid is something to get used to but I have another pressure cooker with the same type of lid so no problem for me. I would definitely recommend this cooker.
