The hip holder or supporter makesnthe baby sit and lie comfortably.
The hip support solves the problem. It doesn't press the child's stomach. It's a very helpful product. Don't buy cheap product without the hip supporter.

Build of the product is good, but backsupport to the baby is poor. Baby will start laying left and right.
