Very Good Product : Great for everyday use : Word Processing, Youtube/Online Videos, watching Movies, E-mail/Facebook.... NOT for Storage and Gaming. 1. Very Fast boot up and shutdown, Wake up from sleep instantaneously :D 2. Plays ALL videos/ music without a glitch 3. The USB and HDMI ports work just fine. Can attach an external Hard Disk to it. Even the Wireless Display works awesome. 4. Good battery life. Very light and portable 5. I love the design. Here's how to use it (Overcome the 32 GB limitation) 1. Add a 64 GB SD Card to it. ~90 GB is good enough to install softwares and keep documents ; Buy an external Hard Disk. Your wish... 2. On the OLD netbook (I had a toshiba one with 500GB of Space), Install Turnkey Media Server Linux and attach it to the Home Wireless Router.... Update all the packages, especially Samba and configure Samba for Guest access. This way, i have 500 GB of space on the house wireless that i can access on this portable laptop AND, all my other windows 10 devices (For keeping videos/ other stuff rarely accessed) 3. Use Auslogics software to keep it fast. 4. Put it charge when you sleep... 5. Throw this laptop away and buy a new one (same) in case this dies out on me because it is soooo cheap. Cheers!

Reposting my review after my 2 iBall laptop purchase back to back and here is my experience.... Person with sane mind will never ever go with any iBall products. Period. This laptop purchased, taken care very nicely and within 6 months power button stopped working. When I approached service center they told me this is a common issue with iball laptop. I am saying this because this is my second iBall laptop and both had same issue. I purchased second time thinking to give it another chance but I was wrong. Worse of all, it has been more than a month and my laptop is sitting and gathering dust in service center. Neither service center guys answers my call (they have my phone number) purposely nor iBall customer care answers, their number is always busy. We talk about make in India product and you get this pathetic service even after spending your hard earned money. Companies like this is joke and should be closed down immediately. If you can't make a proper working condition product then you are not fit to run any business. I hope Amazon is reading this and save their brand before allowing such companies product sell on their platform. Btw I had iBall speaker in the past, small ones and they gave up within 20 days. So do yourself a favour, spend a bit more and go for a better brand and dont make a mistake like me. If there would be minus star option, I would have given it.

First the product is very good. It serves my purpose of having portable laptop for browsing, watching youtube videos and reading documents. I would like to give 5 star for the product but gave only one star for receiving unboxed product and not sure if I got defective display screen. Received the product a day late from Amazon. The seals of the product box was already torn and stick together again. The power adapter and cable was in sealed plastic bag inside. The laptop screen "peel" was still on the screen as of a test laptop. There were 9 sticky blue pixels on the screen. I tore of the display screen peel layer and the 9 blue pixel issue went away. The laptop screen has worst vertical viewing angle. I opened paint and put a white color box covering the complete screen. The display screen was not showing white color evenly throughout. The white color is more of reddish in the first half of screen and gradually going blue at the end. It is like warm white on top of the screen to cool white at the bottom of the screen. Do anyone else also face this issue? For anyone who wanted to install ubuntu in this system. I tried booting Xubuntu 16.10 live and laptop blanked out after showing the Xubuntu splash screen. So as of now Xubuntu / linux is not supported in this laptop. May be this support will be available in some future release. Other than above mentioned issue and few small niggles like num lock(I think so) function getting enabled during boot, For basic purpose such as browsing, document reading this laptop is very good. The portability of this laptop is too good. Keys are good to type. Track pad works 98% time as expected. The laptop do got warm in bottom left of the laptop, but there was no heat on keyboard or track pad. If anyone faces the display issue I mentioned here please reply, Do all compbook laptop comes with screen peel not removed? Does all compbook laptop suffers from worst vertical viewing angles? Update: On Day 2, a purple line of 3cm has appeared on the screen. looks like about 40 pixels are stuck. Requested for replacement. I really liked this laptop. I hope I will get good screen next time. If I get good screen I will give at least 3 stars for the product and preferably 4 stars. Update: Received the replacement laptop. The screen doesn't have any stuck pixels. Horizontal viewing angle is good. Vertical viewing angle is bad, this is the case for most TN panel. But when viewing the display from centre the color is uniform(read latest update below for non-uniformity issue), the pixels are sharp. I used the laptop for 2 hours and felt comfortable with the screen. I have updated my rating to 4 stars. I have installed libre office, vlc media player, google chrome, pdf viewer. The system booted quick to windows desktop in ~40 seconds. google chrome opened in less than 8 seconds. Browsing internet was fast, watching youtube movies was fast. felt libre office was slow like when I drop few boxes into document and clicking the box, it took some time to load the properties. Overall the laptop is good for watching movie, browsing internet, watching youtube, reading documents... And best part at ~1kg with more than 5 hours of battery back up this laptop can be the entertainment package on the go, no more carrying my bulky 2.5kg laptop while travelling. Now for the price point need to watch how long the laptop lasts. Update: Reduced the rating to 3 stars because the display screen is not having uniform colors. When reading documents it is annoying that top half is more whitish than bottom half which is bluish. Configured color settings and it is little better. I have recently bought Lenovo 110-14IBR laptop and comparing both the display screen iball compbook display screen is very inferior. Other than display this laptop is great, all applications opens fast and I have enabled hibernation also.

As someone has already pointed out, it is indeed poor man's Mac Book Air. Additionally, thanks to Amazon for a great customer service and speed delivery of the product when I needed it urgently. Coming too the product, obviously one cannot expect high end performance at a price like this, but, it gets the job done, enough for media consumption and light productivity. Not recommended for playing games but IDEs run smoothly and it can play 1080i videos. Ideal for students who are living on their own and are leading a carefree life, no worries about losing or damaging the product. Some things to be noted here! The SD card slot provided may or may not work as it shows "Semaphore error", now you can fix it by installing proper driver but the manufacturer of SD card slot is not known, this issue can be tackled if you simply use an external HDD. The touch pad isn't great, so you have to rely on a mouse, preferably a wireless one. Some extra purchases are needed along with this "laptop"', like a mouse, USB hub (if you're a heavy user), etc. The best thing about the product is that it will get things done and is lightweight. Sometimes lags will be observed since it is using Intel Atom but you can only ask for this much at a price range like this. I used the product for 4 months before writing this review and I am satisfied with the performance, not anything extraordinary but not bad either. A great product for budget conscious people out there. I would be happier if iBall adds additional USB ports, preferably USB 3.0 ones if they decide to upgrade the device.

This laptop can handle basic as well as moderately intensive programs. It has an amazing battery backup. The expandable memory by SD card is limited to 64 GB, so you'll need an external HDD. Ideal for students/professionals who need to get work done and don't worry too much about the speed of processing. Pros: 1. Superb screen size 2. Good battery backup 3. Good finish 4. Works fine with external HDD Cons: 1. Track pad is a little sticky at times 2. External SD card supports only 64GB 3. USB 2.0 ports only 4. No pre installed MS office 5. Cam quality is very basic, does not capture any detail. Okay for video chats. Performance: 1. Single core utilization ~ 100%, it's about 10% slower than core i3 3rd generation 2. Multi-core utilization - 4 cores ~ all at 100%, it's much better than core i3 3rd generation 3. Multitasking - Works fine with multi programs, no lag or hang. I tried Android studio, Net Beans, MATLAB and QT 4. It can handle all the above programs, albeit a little slow (especially like MATLAB if the code uses single core) Battery backup: 1. Playing youtube with WiFi, nonstop... battery drops 12-15% / hour... works for 6 and 7 hours 2. Single core 100% utilization - battery drops about 20% / hour ... works for about 5 hours 3. Quad core 100% utilization - battery drops about 25%-30% / hour - works for 3 to 4 hours The unit gets heated up if you're constantly running something and it's becomes uncomfortable to keep on lap if it's charging too.

Received the CompBook (K) yesterday. Thank you Amazon for Prime delivery. K is really something wonderful that has happened in India. At 9480/- you cannot get loaded features anywhere but from Indian Manufacturers. I can afford more but to encourage Indian Manufacturers I chose to buy this. I have three high end laptops already. (Two from lenovo and one VAIO). Keyboard is crowded as the form factor of the laptop is small. So either we use external keyboard or switch off the touch pad while typing. The soft touch of the keys is welcomed. It does not make noise when typing. It is very sensitive and good. Getting Windows 10 (highest priority) with Intel Atom processor (medium priority) at a price like this is great thing coming from iBall. What I did: 1. Updated the Windows 10 2. Updated all APPs on K. 3. Tested with 4 Apps on. K runs fine. 4. Video and audio on K is good. HD video and good sound. 5. Edge, Mail and OneNote are all that one needs on a Good Windows laptop. 6. Tested the battery life. Dongle and WiFi drains the power quickly and is expected. Otherwise K is very efficient. 7. Sturdiness of body is ok. I cannot expect metal frame sturdiness. K does not look cheap. 8. Also tested if it is possible for iBall to compromise Windows 10 and Intel's performance. It seems other than body everything is what one will get from any high priced laptop. Great way to address the market segment. 9. Had 22 GB space available after installation and updates. This is enough for any practical use.

Never thought of buying Laptop priced below 10K. But believe me it is almost 100% worth if you are buying a budget laptop for travel,leisure and office work purpose. Except for few things it is excellent,almost in every department. Let me first write some pros about the laptop 1. Cheap and Reliable, 2. Outlook is nice. 3. Multitasking and doesn't heat up soon. 4. External drives works absolutely fine. 5. Browsing is absolutely brilliant even with VSNL broadband speed. 6. Memory is enough to keep you going without freezing even if you are working with multiple applications. 7. Very portable and handy specially when someone travels a lot. 8. Screen resolution is just enough for various viewing angle. 9. keyboard is reasonably OK to handle your typing requirements. 10. Excellent battery back up with 90% battery charge,I was charging a mobile in the usb and using external hard drive on the other usb port, battery of the laptop lasted more than 5 hrs (still showed 7% remaining). so it will be definitely travelers delight. As I have written many reason to buy the laptop I definitely don't want to miss mentioning few cons. 1. Battery charger could have been much better, 2. USB slots are too tight, if you plug in some usb devices like external drives, mobile or mouse it is very difficult to take them out from usb port. Other than slight problem in track pad and webcam resolution, everything are up to the mark at the price tag it comes with. It will be definitely a thumbs up from my side if you are considering budget or low cost laptop.

Poor quality product. Some cracking type of noise comes everytime u open the flap. Flap also shakes if u place computer under fan. Anyway as such laptop is working fine till now. Worst part is its charger , cord is only 1meter in length so everytime u have to search specific switch board. I bought 3 months Back suddenly charger stopped working, became hot and got electrical shock when touched the charging tip which should deliver 5V.
