Love this soft mix ice cream, easy to make consistant quality, not been disappointed.

Bought this as an easy ice cream recipe for the ninja creami and had high hopes from the reviews! So, whilst it’s a little expensive, it’s so worth it!! This MUST be what the ice cream vans use as it tasted exactly the same. Same quality, texture and great taste! Also, add some crushed smarties and you’ve got yourself a tasty McFlurry! The chocolate one is also delicious!

A superb tasting product, particularly if you like sweet things. I found ice cream making difficult in a Kenwood. The process was slow and a layer of ice cream lined the bowl and was not removed by the plastic blades. Then the bowl was stuck solid and had a reverse thread of which I was unaware. Attempt two was more successful and that was getting a sturdy wooden scraper and not putting the bowl in the mixer. I also put the ice cream mix in the deep freeze for three hours before starting. This resulted in a much quicker production of the ice cream. It is best used then as putting it in the freezer for a couple of days makes it quite hard. It was interesting to note that the ice cream was forming quite well in the box and if I had mixed the outer solid ice cream with the liquid centre and then perhaps given it another half hour and additional mix then it would have achieved the aim and not needed the ice cream chilled bowl at all. The flavour is great. The next attempt was different. Put the ice cream mix in the fridge. When it is needed take the cold carton out of the fridge and put it in the deep freeze for 4 hours. Take it out cut the carton and get it into a sturdy bowl. The out side areas will be frozen and the centre still liquid. Get a strong beater (wooden cake mixer stick) of some sort and stir it up and you have great whippy type ice cream. No ice cream machine necessary! If you leave it in too long it will go very hard. The Unilever man said on TV that the more it is whipped or mixed the creamier is the consistency.

Very nice indeed, but I think overpriced but there’s not much out there in competition in pricing only if you buy lots

We bought these as an easy quick solution to make Whippy ice cream for the Ninja Creami. 1 carton will make 2 tubs. We find it works best with 12 hours freezing with no lid on, 1 full spin and then a bottom respin, tastes just like Mr Whippy.

This ice cream mix is delicious, I pour it into my ice cream maker and wait, when done we end up with creamy, tasty, delicious ice cream
