This is my favorite affordable brand of pasta—and I lived in Italy 1-1/2 years and wrote a cookbook about the region of Umbria. Cook it the minimum time for al-dente.

These are delicious and thick!!! It doesn’t take much time to cook these and layered with the right amount of sauce and seared veggies made it a whole meal!

I did not realize pasta from a box could be as good as De Cecco is. I lived in Italy for 8 years, and in my opinion, this is the best "affordable" pasta option available to us in USA. It's got that powdery feel out of the box like it was made/handled properly somewhere and someone put it into the box manually. The rigatoni is very authentic, and I was so excited to eat the Bucatini, but ended up giving those away as a Christmas gift because I didn't have anything else as nice! The family I gave the Bucatini said it was hands down the best pasta they've ever had. I pretty much won't cook pasta at home now unless it's this brand.

Tastes like pasta. Cooked easily. Works well with a cream or tomato sauce. Kid approved.

De Cecco pasta products are the gold standard for dry pasta. It has an authentic taste that cheaper brands don't have. If you want to elevate your pasta meals, this brand is excellent. It's been around for over a hundred years - they know their stuff. My father sold this exclusively in his store when I was growing up.
