Reeds Nautical Almanac 2025 (Reed's Almanac)

As always - much needed resource
It’s an almanac - it did come with a voucher to get the pdf version for 1/2 price, which was a good upsell and great tool

Essential publication for boating and sailing.
Great source of detailed information for all seafarers, in any discipline. Accompanying Marina Guide is very useful. Highly recommended.

Would welcome more regional versions covering UK & Irish waters.
Possibly the best general almanac available. Although there are regional versions, they only cover the most popular cruising grounds such as the English Channel. So many people who want to move around a bit, such as a cruise from the Solent to North Wales and back, need to buy the entire tome.

Biblical
A yachtsman’s bible. We can only praise the authors and contributors. There are others eg the French Bloc Marine but not sold in UK.

Don’t trust the accompanying Marina Guide 2025
The almanac itself is ok - much as you’d expect - but it also came with a “Marina Guide 2025”. Of course I expected the guide to be as up to date as the almanac, but it is not! I followed the information in the guide but found that it is not to be trusted. This wouldn’t normally have been so bad, but in this case it led me to navigate towards the wrong location in the harbour causing problems. The reason? The entry was 2 years out of date due to works in the port! A 2025 guide it is not. I think it’s just an opportunity for them to tout advertising space for marinas. Very disappointing and led me to doubt the veracity of the main almanac itself.
