What does it mean in the picture description that it is "fda proof" ?

I don’t know what FDA means, but I love my cobalt blue dishes. I have them all around my kitchen for wherever you might need a Spoon rest. My husband was very resistant when I bought them but he has really learned to love them. They are beautiful and can be used for a lot of different things. Dishwasher safe and very easy to clean.
