I Have being using this product for years. Love the way it makes my hair look and feel with having permanent color.There are not many products on the market that you can use with permanent hair color.In my opinion this is one of the best.

The activator powder to be mixed into the crème product was hard and impossible to grind up. I tried but would not dissolve into the crème mixture. Threw entire box away.

Relaxer works great every time.

I've used the dark and lovely brand for many years. I thought I would try the relaxer for color treated hair even though it was quite expensive. I'm not impressed. There was less relaxer cream than the regular dark and lovely perm kit. The step 4 is the silk keratin serum, and you have to use the entire contents, but only one tube is provided. The contents are supposed to be enough to relax your hair twice. The process is exactly the same as the regular perm. 1. There's only 1 tube of the silk keratin serum (so what do you use the 2nd time around)? 2. My hair is shaved on the side and part of the back, yet I needed more than half of the contents to perm my hair. My hair stops at the neckline. I WILL NOT purchase this product again. This product is way to expensive. I will buy from another brand. You can buy color treated serums and/or color treated perm kits at a beauty supply store.

I am surprised with how well this relaxer worked, and it didn't sting or burn at all!

Left my hair kinda dry and frizzy and did not straightened as well as other dark and lovely relaxers I've used for many years.

this is really a lovely god sent product ..so easy to use..jus follow the instructions...

I don’t know if it was expired or what, but my hair was not processed properly and I followed the instructions like I have been for how many years
