Since I am a coffee fiend the COFFEE selection was perfect for me. For a book this would be a hefty tome but for a safe you might have to negotiate the items or how you place them inside the box. Especially if you order an appropriate deflection - such as me and coffee - this might be something that fits in with other items on your shelf.

Decided I was very much over remote access for my kiddos, so slapped some restrictions on the tv and decided just to lock your remote in this bad boy when not in use. It’s perfect and adorable for what I needed. I only wish it looked a little more vintage being a classic novel. Still a good purchase!

I have a very close person to me that teaches. After 10+ years in her field, some money went missing in her classroom. She had no idea where it went and while she had a feeling it was taken, she didn’t want to accuse anyone who was innocent so she took a $50 loss instead. I gave her this little safe to hopefully prevent this sort of thing from ever happening again without having it obvious to her students and colleagues that she now felt the need to “hide” cash in her classroom.She loved it! You will not able to tell the difference among books

I like the idea of this book safe, but I don't think the execution is much better than hollowing out an actual book.The outside cover is fairly convincing and actually feels like a real book. The pages look decent, but are clearly plastic. Overall, pretty good at hiding on the bookshelf. On a shelf that is not eye level, you would never know it was there.The safe part is rather lacking. The metal is extremely thin. The side walls look like they are just bent in place. I didn't see any welds holding them together. There is a noticeable gap between the lid and one of the walls. You could easily stick a screw driver in there and bust it open. Might even be able to do it with your hands.It's a fun idea, but don't put anything too valuable in there.

Looks attractive. The "pages" are hard plastic and won't stand up to closer inspection, but on a high shelf it's fine.
