The pump is good and fast! It pumps in a minute. Unlike other air pumps this pump is the fastest and more useful than the others. Good thing is the pump is under budget which is great! Also it is light weight and easy to carry, but the material is plastic.

​I bought this Nivia double action ball pump because I recently picked up a new ball and needed something compact to keep in my sports kit for quick top-ups before games. I didn't want a massive floor pump, just something simple that gets the job done without taking up half my bag. ​What I like: ​Fast Inflation: The "double action" feature actually works great. It pushes air into the ball both when you push and when you pull the handle. It cuts down the inflation time by half compared to standard, cheap single-stroke pumps. ​Compact & Lightweight: It’s small enough to easily throw into a backpack or kit bag. It doesn't add any noticeable weight and takes up very little room. ​Decent Build: For a plastic pump, the main body feels reasonably sturdy when you're pumping rapidly, and the grip is easy to hold onto without slipping. ​What could be better: ​Needle Safety: Because the needle screws directly into the rigid head of the pump without a flexible extension hose, you have to be careful when pumping. If you push at a weird angle too aggressively, you risk bending the needle or damaging the ball’s valve. Just keep it straight while pumping. ​No Needle Storage Compartment: It would have been great if the handle had a small built-in compartment to store extra needles so they don't get lost in the bottom of a sports bag. ​Final thoughts: If you need a quick, highly efficient hand pump for your football, basketball, or volleyball, this is an excellent budget buy that works faster than most. Just pump with a steady hand so you don't stress the needle!
