I’ve tried a lot of whitening mouthwashes and most either taste way too strong or dont seem to do anything. This one was actually pretty good. The mint flavor is clean and refreshing without burning my mouth, and my breath feels fresh for a long time after using it. I noticed a small difference in the brightness of my teeth after maybe 2 weeks of daily use, especially from coffee stains. Nothing dramatic overnight, but definitely noticeable over time. Also didnt make my teeth sensitive like some whitening products do. Bottle is a nice size too and lasts a while. Only reason I didnt give 100% perfect is because the cap can get a little messy sometimes. Overall very solid mouthwash and I would buy again.

I use this and also the toothpaste. Went to have my teeth cleaned this week and was told that my teeth were so very white! This does make a difference. Give it a try!!

I don't like the taste, is very basic. I can tolerate for one minute but is burning alot. I don't know if it helps with the whitening but sure it makes your mouth feel clean and refreshed. Negative is that is very pricey

My husband and I have been using the opal toothpaste for years and we tried the mouthwash recently and it did not disappoint. It was minty and fresh without the extra additives from other brands.

This is a two-pack of 15.5 fl Oz bottles of mouthwash. The mouthwash’s main ingredient from a whitening and germ-killing perspective is hydrogen peroxide. This is effective for both uses, in fact sometimes I just straight H2O2 at 3%, although some consider that pretty strong. The molecule is an oxidizer, which causes molecules to fall apart. The bottles have a shrink-wrap anti-tamper seal on the cap, along with an easy-to-remove tear strip… so a knife to remove it isn’t necessary, as it is with some products. The cap is also child-resistant, requiring a squeeze to unscrew it. The instructions indicate that 15mL should be poured into the cap, however on the inside of the cap, there’s only a 10mL mark. It’s not hard to estimate how much to use, however. The flavour is a little on the sweet side, with a strong minty taste. It is also somewhat effervescent, due to the peroxide. I’d like to know what the net concentration of peroxide is, but it’s not listed on the labelling. Although the instructions indicate that this should be switched for 60sec, I also choose to gurgle. I like that when I do this, with my mouth pointing upwards ,that there aren’t a heap of bubbles that form, which would make it difficult to gurgle. Overall, this is an easy to use, effective, and well presented product.
