These don't fit the Spear & Jackson 5L sprayer - But read on, all is not lost.
Perfectly adequate for the job they are intended to do. However, the bad news is they DO NOT FIT the Spear & Jackson pressure sprayer with dark blue (or black) screw on caps. The good news however is that with very careful use of a precision screwdriver (the really tiny one used for spectacles) you can gently prise the small collet off of the shaft that hold it all together, then simply reassemble it on the original screw cap of the S&J sprayer - Works for me!

Does not fit Spear and Jackson sprayers... its too big.
Does not fir spear and jackson sprayers. However if I can do what Auld Fart done.. result... IF!!! the description SHOULD tell you if it doesn't.. oh well. Cheap enough not to worry too much I suppose.

Screw thread of this Valve is not compatible with a Spear & Jackson 5LPAPS Pressure Sprayer!
The screw thread of the subject Pressure Relief Valve (both of them!) is such that the Valve just keeps turning around on my Spear & Jackson 5LPASP Pressure Sprayer - it cannot be tightened and is therefore useless!
