Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse (H3S-00003)

An absolutely fabulous mouse for my surface pro 6. I use it for my daily work and when use photoshop in conjunction with the surface pen. Design and ergonomics are perfect and fits into the hand perfectly and comfortably. It’s a little heavier than the Surface arc mouse, but the reason I chose this over the the surface arc mouse was because of the separate buttons between left and right click and the scroll roller. Apart from rolling like a regular scroller, the scroll button can even be pressed left or right to navigate in a web page or on a photoshop screen.However it is slightly heavy and uses replaceable AA batteries. Nonetheless, a great compliment to my surface pro 6.

The media could not be loaded. Delivery was delayed - beyond the dates mentioned in 'my orders'.Anyway, finally the item came and I was happy to see it was adequately packed. But the edges of the mouse packet were crumbled, so if I had planned to give it to someone as a gift it would have been bad.MRP is ₹12999! And the selling price was less than ₹3500! The mouse works great.... Exactly as advertised. The windows button is a welcome and unique addition. No problem in connecting. I uploaded an unboxing and impressions video on my YouTube channel "The Versatile Doctor".Overall, this is worth every penny spent. I wish Amazon.in could make all its deliveries in time to my location. I have been getting several delayed deliveries in the past 2 months.

The best Bluetooth mouse for Microsoft devices. Pairs automatically with ny Surface Pro 4 and works seamlessly. Have been using it for 6 months now, no problems.

Ergonomic and fits in your hand but the arch is slightly lesser than other models. Comfort wise hence the rating of 4. Its quite an expensive mouse for what it delivers and hence the rating of 3 for value but overall its very easy and convenient to use since I use a surface. It has the window key and the scroll works well.

Very precise and comfortable in hands. It's a different kind of experience in comparison of other Bluetooth mouses.

Bluetooth Pairing and connectivity is outstanding, you will not face issues. This device also can connect to bluetooth of my Pixel 2 phone and i can use the same as a cursor on phone.Battery life has been good. I have duracel cells, but on the price front, i feel it is a bit expensive.

The Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth Mouse is well-made. I'd prefer a symmetrical design and a smaller size, but there aren't any Bluetooth offerings from Microsoft meeting those criteria. The price is reasonable. I was interested in Bluetooth a long time ago, but I could never get past the high prices. I like everything about the hardware from the battery compartment to the weight. Hardware gets five stars easily.It'll take me a while to get used to this larger mouse. I'm coming from a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 1000. The 1000 isn't Bluetooth: it has a RF dongle. I like the 1000, but I hate messing with its USB dongle.As a Windows user, I choose Microsoft-branded input devices because Windows support for Microsoft devices is best. No matter how excellent third-party devices are, I'm never satisfied with their driver software.Windows 8 software for the Sculpt Mouse is funky. It works. A modern-style app supplements the familiar control panel, keeping with Windows 8's cross-eyed and bipolar world-view. I'm hoping Windows 10 brings relief when it arrives. Thank you to reviewers who linked the download page for Microsoft's supplemental app.The Sculpt Mouse works fine with my Lenovo laptop. (I did not mess with my laptop's BT power management settings, but it's good to know about this issue from Amazon's reviewers.) The three buttons work exactly as expected. Scroll wheel feel is perfect; I've owned MS mouses with hard-to-roll wheels and/or wheels lacking detentes: this one is just right.The touch strip doesn't perform as well as I'd like. It has two assignable gestures: swipe up and swipe down. I can only get the swipe down gesture to work reliably. There are three levels of vibration: off, light, and strong. I'm using strong. It's not overpowering at all. I expected more granularity in the vibration settings similar to my smartphone. Anyway, I see the touch strip as "gravy". It doesn't get in my way and I can ignore it if I want. My swipe down gesture sends a middle click. I like having vibration feedback. The touch strip has a non-assignable click button as well.I did not test this mouse with older versions of Windows. I tested my Comfort Mouse with Mint Linux. Everything but the touch strip works fine. I also used this mouse with my HP Stream 8. It runs Windows 8.1 like my laptop. Everything including the touch strip works.I hoped the Comfort Mouse would be able to remember several device-pairings. It does not. I have to re-pair my laptop after previously pairing the mouse with my tablet and vice-versa. (I don't know whether it's possible under the Bluetooth specification to keep more than one pairing. I know of Bluetooth speakers that allow this, but I don't know about any input devices that do.) I also have to re-pair my mouse after booting into Linux and then switching back to Windows on the same laptop.In summary, the hardware is excellent and it more than offsets the lame configuration utility provisioned by Windows. Repairing is a hassle but the Comfort Mouse is quite excellent otherwise.
