I am also very picky about my yoga mat. This mat is very thick and cushy but even more exciting it started out being perfectly "sticky" with no break-in time. The functionality has been perfection and I will add that I think it is quite beautiful. I am very happy with my purchase and will buy this brand again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Faded dreams *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2017* I bought this mat mainly because of its beautiful design (I got "purple").I was disappointed to find that the mat I received had some blue and black paint stains on it. I didn't want to have to go through the hassle of returning it and asking for a new one, so I tried to clean it. Some Bon Ami, water and a soft sponge worked, for the most part. The remaining stubborn paint stains I had to scrape off with my nail. By attempting to clean it, it seems I've taken off some of the $30 pink color in the area and I am now left with a faded spot. I think the problem is I didn't use Pumpkin Spice Latte, which would have most likely restored the mat to its pristine existence.I've attached the before and after photos. The faded spot seems like it could be part of the design? Maybe I'm an artist.I just expected more from a yoga mat that costs $33.Comfort wise, it seems just about as thick/dense as your average yoga mat.Edit: Aimerday’s customer service manager immediately contacted me to apologize and offered to replace it.
