The guards were made of some sort of leather and has some mild soft padding inside with good quality welcrows... The outer shell has some steel like shell which will take away minor to moderate blows to ur knees, legs and elbows.... Serves the purpose for the cost... Joint movements will be limited to some degree and may sometimes slips down while walking with them... So have to readjust every while if u walks with them... I used them.for.my ladakh trip and did the purpose... And just remember that no guards can help u if u overspeed or do some awkard things while driving.... Drive safe always ...

Good product you can purchase

Got proper probiker written old model...no ventilation inside....velcrow straps are short but elastic...hence need to make it too tight to fight over jeans..newer models of proX has full back velcro not 3 sprip bands..price felt to be much more as per item...better price would have been 600-700...but had paid 1049...item reached with damage but poorly packed just in net and cellotaped..
