Sadly this year the snails had gotten to my Hosta before I got this wonderful copper plant fence/wire so next year I am hopeful that my poor beaten (eaten) up plant will look a million bucks better then he does right now. Snails in my garden are only interested in this one plant and every year I have a constant battle with them now armed with this and seeing that it already works next year the plant is going to look amazing.I actually have two Hosta's once at each side of the garden and the snails always have a feast, but not anymore 10/10 ... I loath slugs. They sneak into my kitchen and they eat the plants in my garden. my partner has recently developed an interest in growing plants in our garden and was devastated to find that slugs have been using the fruits of her labours as a smorgasbord for their satiety.this copper mesh is easy to cut and shape to provide an uncrossable barrier around her potted plants that so far seems to be keeping the monsters at bay without the need to resort to dangerous chemicals which we don't feel comfortable having around because of our dog.very useful item.
