So if you have an endless bank balance you can buy it and feed them until they are huge.However my birds clear out a feeder full of this in about a week. Which is too quick. I like the birds, but not enough to spend that much on the giant pack that seems to assemble and consume this food. More sturdier than the tub they pack 5kg.Oddly cheaper to but two 2.5kg bags at present of Erdtmann Summer Bird Food as opposed to the plastic tub 5kg of the same product which was £8.79 when I last ordered it - or their regular 5kg tub - both of which are out of stock.Handy tip: retain your empty 5kg plastic Erdtmann tubs - a) because Amazon usually send tubs damaged b) the tubs are very handy receptacles for two 2.5kg bags of Erdtmann's Bird seeds. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved by the small birds in the feeder *by M***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 5 August 2020* I use these in the bird seed feeder and the smaller birds love them. We have had a variety of sparrows (including fledglings) tits, finches loving these. The larger birds sit underneath the feeder and pick up those bits that drop down. I do keep them in a sealable container as the feed contains what look like dried insects and I didn't want anything hatching out in the utility room. Nothing has yet though and the birds love the variety of 'tastes'. I am about to order more and this will be my third order.
