I'm really inpressed with this pomade. I have very thick rough hair and this pomade does a great job of holding my hair in my preferred 'just got out of bed' scruffy look. It is easy to spread in the hands and so easy to apply evenly and is very easy to wash off your hands - I could be wrong but presume it's water based. It dries firm but nothing too hard. I don't think my hair is capable of shining due to the colour so I can't comment on it's high shine capabilities. It has a very masuline scent and I really like it - it's a musky aftershave scent. In summary, I'm a big fan and I have other pomades but can see this being the one I reach for the most often.

I was surprised, this stuff is really good. I think it was described as a pomade from memory. I was expecting a thick goo with little hold. This is, in my opinion, a dense gel type substance. I have short, thick uncontrollable hair, I use Dax red wax usually. This stuff had enough hold to work for me. Bonuses are that you don't need much at all, it spreads wee on damp hair. There's no powdery residue off it when dried either, really good.

A little goes a long way. Holds but husbands slick back really well! No overpowering smell but does have a pleasant scent to it.

Holds well, washes out without difficulty, and doesn't leave my hair feeling gummed up with product. Price is reasonable considering how little you need to use. Recommended.

I usually use ordinary hair wax on my hair, finding pomades too messy and not defined enough for my taste. However, this stuff is really good. It has a grown-up and masculine scent to it that fades quickly, and works well into you hair. You can use wet hands to really work it to the tips, and once it dries it gives a mild hair-gel sort of effect. You can feel it if you run your fingers through your hair, but it allows a natural look rather than looking like you've plastered your head with gunk. It will hold all day, and survive having hands run through it with no problem, and you can freshen it up with a run through with damp hands. A finger sized scoop is all you need, so it's pretty good value. It washes out very easily too, to the point where you will need to use some more if you get caught in the rain. I really like it, and will be buying more when this runs out. Good stuff

Arrives in a deep red branded box with information on ingredients and how to use. Inside the box you have the pot with a screw top black lid. There is a tamper proof hygiene seal that you have to peel back in order to use the product. Made in Turkey. The paste consistency is very thick and goopy - You do need to work fast and know what you are doing as it is hard to correct mistakes - The container felt like cheap plastic, although the marketing, colour. design and price made it seem like a premium product the packaging materials feel incredibly cheap - Has an 'older man' scent to it + Very strong hold + Shine effect - Leaves hair looking greasy the next day + £10 is not a bad price + Production date 2024 + Long expiry in 2027 - There was some marks on the pot, sticky residue of some kind, I would take a better look at the finish. Overall this is a classic pomade, the texture may put some people off but it does give a good hold and shine finish! Well, maybe not first impression. Second, for certain. First impression was unscrewing the top and seeing a substance which looked not unlike 'cuckoo spit'. Quote grey, bubbly. Bizarre looking. Second impression was dipping a finger in and discovering a thick liquid, but in consistency somewhere between a sponge cake and a chocolate mousse. Immediately it felt like top quality as I smoothed it through my palms and styled my hair. One tiny fingertip's worth shared a precise coating to my hair [medium length on top, layers, undercut], with a little extra after to properly emphasise the undercut. Then frosting with hairspray. Sumptuously presented in the fabulous King's Armour colours, this is a good sized tub, and fantastic value for money. The product is of staggering quality, unlike any pomade I've used, and there's more than enough here to justify the price point.

This particular product is FANTASTIC, the fragrance is top notch. The ease of removal is superb, doesn't leave your hair all dried out and flaky. The manageability of the product is really good, the hold is phenomenal and I work outside in Arizona allday. If you know you know. I have tried A LOT of pomades and this has definitely made it to the top of the list

Smells like Vick vaporub! I appreciate the attempt to give it a pine smell, but it quickly becomes an assault on the nostrils with the bad menthol smell. It does work very well as a pomade, but the odor isn’t worth it.
