If you remember Tamagotchi's from your childhood, these are what you are thinking of. This is not a new one so if you are looking for a new version this is not it. This is a recreation from the 90's and I am so beyond happy they made a comeback. Cuteness! The little alien is so cute! You care for it and feed it and can even play a game with it. Be careful not to neglect it though because they can die, but you can also reset it if it dies too. Have fun with your new virtual pet! The memories this brought back from my childhood are real! I really like this cute pink glitter shell. I like the pink transparent look with the gold glitter. It fits right in my tamagotchi case. I finally decided to get my hands on the angel version that I never got to try while growing up. I’ve only played the original and connection versions. The angel version has this pretty cool tap feature to scare away battchi. It’s fun to play with. Not too demanding which is good for me as a busy mom.

Once it got delivered i opened it quickly because i wanted to play with it so bad 😂 it’s so cute this is my favorite tamagotchi gen 1 shell so far, i love the yellow cream color ! ☕️🍩🍰💗 Update: I have noticed that recently tamagotchi gen 1 and gen 2 are too loud and they make a screeching sound which I do not like because I have to put the Tamagotchi on mute so that’s why i removed a star

I never had a tamagotchi growing up, and totally missed out on the original craze back in the day. With these new re-releases though, I decided to pick one up - and oh boy, it's simple but I love it so much! I picked out the blue colored Amazon exclusive tamagotchi, purely because it comes with a plastic case, while the others do not. And I'm glad I did, as the case does protect the entire unit, and so far has done a great job of protecting it from getting damaged. I've dropped this several times, I accidentally stepped on it, and it got rained on a little bit when attached to my bag - so definitely like the case, even if it's just a plastic clip-on piece. Now for the tamagotchi itself - there is a bit of a learning curve, but after a day I figured it out. The instructions it came with were vague, so googling all my questions really made a difference. The programming on this is almost identical to the originals, it is fairly simple; definitely recommend to anuone new to taking care of a tamagotchi. Now my only complaint is that the device makes these awful and loud beeping noises every time you press a button, BUT you can turn it off by holding the A and C buttons at the same time. The tamagotchi will still make a sound when it needs something, though. I will eventually get another one in a different colors, as I did have a hard time picking out just one as my favorite!
