Summary Pros: works really well, long lasting, basically invisible. Cons: expensive, spreads like cold butter, amount given is disappointing. Worked for me! At first I was very disappointed. The amount they give you is very little compared to your average lip balm. It feels kind of underwhelming when you pay so much but get a half empty lip balm container. Regardless I was excited to try it out. I have extremely dry lips especially during the winter. And although I didn’t take any pictures of the before, just imagine super flaky lips that if you were to smile too wide you would start bleeding (I don’t want to put my lips through that again so just take my word for it). I would constantly be rubbing off the dry flakes out of embarrassment (I know that makes it worse but that’s just what helped in the moment). I had tried so many different lipsticks/lip balms nothing truly worked. The best I would get is the healing ointment from cerave. And although that did work, It would make my lips look super oily and I would need to constantly be reapplying. This lipbalm works great. I apply it in the morning and night and my lips feel hydrated all day. It is thick in consistency, so its hard to apply on dry lips since it spreads like cold butter (at first). But it doesn’t feel heavy and you can tell you have enough when you smack your lips. After 4 days my lips went from dehydrated prehistoric fossils to plump and healthy. I was skeptical at first but I “trusted the process” and it worked very well for me.

What I really like about this treatment is how versatile it is it works as a balm, overnight mask, and repair treatment all in one. This is the BEST lip treatment I have ever used! I have chronically dry, chapped, flaky lips and I have tried many different kinds of balms, treatments, masques, etc. Everything from drug store to high-end. Nothing is as good as this one! I was a little worried the petrolatum base would feel thick and heavy, but it really doesn't. I've already gone through one tube and repurchased and bought one for my mom! I noticed a huge improvement in the feel and look of my lips within 24hrs. I'm waiting to run out of some of my other skin care items because I want to try other items from Remedy.

I have been trying to find a dupe for some random airline lip balm from Sunday Riley when they partnered with United Airlines. I did not know who Sunday Riley was before I got the lip balm. It is discontinued now and Sunday Riley never released this formula on their own. I did a bunch of comparisons of ingredients and reviews and narrowed it down to this one. It is not a basic lip balm, it is a this ointment like balm that you couldn't probably only use at night because it is so thick. It leaves a gray cast, was only half full, and got grainy before I finished the package. It was too expensive for it so suck so bad. I've moved on to Aquaphor lip repair and it's price point and quality is better. I'm still trying to find my Sunday Riley dupe though. It was seriously the best lip balm I ever used.

I wanted to try something new that wasn’t Vaseline. I always liked Dr Shah and saw this lip balm with peptides, which is an ingredient I am incorporating more into my routine. It’s so lovely on the lips, I only need 2-3 applications throughout the day. Doesn’t shine too much. Makes my lips feel really soft and nourished in a way Vaseline doesn’t. But the remedy lip balm doesn’t hold up well overnight. I’ve had to apply a layer of remedy and then add a layer of Vaseline on top to keep full moisture on overnight. I def would recommend!

It has an industrial oil smell/taste. Number 1 ingredient is petrolatum, a fossil fuel by-product. Product feels thick on lips and doesn't absorb that well. Also, deducted 1 star because items can be out of stock but in stock at TARGET. Me and my friends/family do not shop TARGET due to their politics. Will continue to use daily to see if any difference from my current lip balm Burt's Bee's Ultra Lip Conditioner which is also less expensive. Product arrived from Amazon in envelope and box was crushed.

I never thought I would find the perfect lip balm. Would you believe I only need to put this stuff on once a day? I sure didn't. Unless I wipe away with a napkin, this stuff last and last and last. Even after wiping away my lips remain moisturized. Throw all your other products away and get this!

I want to say that the actual product is great. Very moisturizing and comfortable on the lips. I’m giving it two stars because the actual tube of product is hardly filled. This is a great product and I feel would be worth the price if there was a fully filled tube of product.

Very hydrating and not sticky or too shiny. Nice feel on the lips

I love this stuff BUT it's very very expensive!
