These ballpoint pens are phenomenal! They write so smoothly and so finely, and feel incredibly high quality. The ink is dark and pigmented, and looks almost like a gel ink pen. It also doesn't typically smear when highlighted and doesn't bleed through paper. The pens also look very nice and are comfortable to hold. The ink lasts a long time without skipping or pooling. Overall, this is a fantastic pen that I use every day, and I would recommend to anyone searching for a smooth pen with dark ink and a fine tip.

I am always looking for the perfect pen. I have always been a fan of fine points, and they aren’t always easy to find. Part of my job is working at tradeshows and somehow one of these pens ended up on our exhibit booth. I was surprised at how well it wrote and how fine the tip was (usually fine only goes down to .05). I looked in the local office supply stores and couldn’t find them anywhere, so off to Amazon. I was a little concerned about some of the reviews saying that they skipped and didn’t write well when they were received, but I haven’t had that problem at all. All three of the pens I got wrote perfectly. I can attest yet to how long they will last ink wise, but so far I’m happy with my purchase.

Excellent choice if you like a very fine point. So good someone at work snagged one! Comfortable to use, glides across paper. Great for using when you have a small space to write in and space is at a premium. I use them often, and bought for use in a hobonichi planner.

Pens were exactly as pictured and described! I got all 3 colored barrels and all 3 pens came with black ink. The ballpoint pen ink is smooth for most of the time and the pen grip is really comfortable! I love that the pen tip is so fine, which lets me write really small while being neat. The Jetstream is soo ahead of Western ballpoint pens! However, I do notice that sometimes the pen skips when I'm writing and won't let me write unless I change the way I hold the pen.

Been writing with a Uni-Ball Jetstream Multi-pen (0.5mm) for two years now. Wanted something smaller and finer to write in my teeny-tiny journal; took a chance on the 0.38mm Jetstream. LOVE IT. Writes like a dream. Gorgeous color and precision. The ink cartridge is sturdy if you, say, hypothetically wanted to dismantle the pen and slip the cartridge into the pocket of a moleskine. The only not-awesome thing about this pen is that the push button exhibits some play within the the body, permitting a soft rattle while writing. But for the price, I am very pleased at the quality.

I have the apricot colored pen which I’m using currently and I bought these as back up. This is my absolute favorite pen to use when journaling. The point allows me to write neatly in my super tiny messy cursive and I write on pretty thin paper and have zero issues with the pen poking through the page or the ink sinking through. They are super durable and I have been using the same one since last summer constantly and it has yet to run out, so these will last a good while. 10/10 will buy again when they run out.

i love japanese pen forever! they hold a special place in my heart for fine tip, smooth gliding, easy on paper, clean lines. i have used these pens through high school, university and higher education. they also have survived through board exams studying. i love using them for planning and organizing thoughts. crossing things off my to-do lists with these pens are very satisfying! so yes! highly recommend.

I bought a pack of these, realised they were amazing, and bought several more.The black is very black. I appreciate that a lot.Almost no pressure is required for smooth writing. No skipping, no aching hand, even after writing pages and pages (like my example) for exam revision.Very thin line, exactly what I want! It's perfect for writing small.As a superficial bonus, the pen colours are super pretty.Because it's a ballpoint, there's no smudging.I saw a review that says these pens bleed badly: I disagree. In my example photo I am using standard notebook paper. There is writing with the same pen, of the same type, on the other side. There is very minor shadowing coming through, which is neither distracting nor atypical for ballpoints.As a caveat, if you are not a fan of very thin ballpoints you might not like this. In my enthusiasm I had some colleagues try them and they thought they were "scratchy". (I can see what they mean, they are scratchy because they are so thin, but that's kind of the point to me.)

Ich liebe diese Stift, habe genau nach so etwas gesucht! Die Stifte schreiben wirklich sehr dünn, was toll aussieht und sich für mich beim schreiben auch toll anfühlt. Bestimmt Geschmackssache, aber ich habe sie auch schon das zweite mal bestellt!Die Miene des Kugelschreibers ist bei allen drei Stiften schwarz.Schön wäre es wenn es diese auch noch in blau geben würde.

These are my favourite pens ever, and this is saying something if you consider the amount of stationary I've gone through over the years. It writes very smoothly and feels like a gel pen without the usual wetness of the ink. The pens are quite thin and do very good precision work. They last quite a while and the writing can be highlighted quite nicely without any streaks. I use these pens for bullet-journalling and they are perfect. Get there, you won't regret it!
