So if you think that's what they're designed for then you should probably look elsewhere. However, if you are looking for an alternative to waking up in a puddle of your own sweat then these are for you. I have night sweats related to a medication I am taking. I wake up each night in a puddle of sweat. It's uncomfortable and embarrassing. These PJs wick away the moisture from your body and keep you from getting the chills. Note, I still get night sweats. I usually wear a 2X and the extra large fit me perfect. I have noticed a marked decrease in waking up soaking wet from night sweats. Don't be intimidated by the long sleeves and full length pants, they really are not hot. Make sure to wash them before wearing as they do release a lot of lint the first time they are washed.
