Works well
I've used American Crew pomade for a few years now. When I had a flat top crew cut, I used the pomade to keep the front of my hair standing up. Now with long hair, I again mostly spread the pomade across the front to keep the hair combed nicely. This works best when I apply the pomade with my fingers after getting out of the shower and my hair is still wet. I've used some other hair gel products but like this pomade the best.

Smells good.
Very easy to use. The smell is very great. Used for a very smooth slick and still easy to work with after a long day for mid to long hair. It works great even on hot summer days. Doesn't get very runny like gel when you sweat. Depending on the style youre going for, I'd recommend for slick back hairs & wavy loose hair.

Good product!
American Crew Pomade is one of the best on the market. You can find it most places. I find it makes my hair softer as I style it and it holds my hair well throughout the day. I use it right when i get out of the shower and have no issues with dryness or flakiness of the product. I have thin hair and it helps add volume to it. It works! It’s not hard to apply and a simple wash of hands after does the trick. Now, this is a small container of it but I use different pomade depending on how close I am to a haircut. I think it is a fair price if you’re looking for a smaller size.

Best Hair Goo ever!
OK, let me start by describing myself: 30 years old male, havnt cut my hair since i buzzed it clean 4 months ago. Not even a trim. I have fluffy, but not frizzy hair if i dont put anything in it.So after 4 months I decided that my hair was finally long enough to start combing. I had been just letting it go, and had not combed or styled it since I shaved my head.I took a shower, got dressed, and started to do my hair. I added a dime sized amount of american crew pomade to my finger tips and ran them through my slightly damp hair. I then quickly styled my hair using my fingers, just a classic clean cut/preppy look. I was expecting to have to put tons of goo in there to keep my hair from popping up, but just a tiny bit worked all day long.My hair kept its form even in the wind. My pets liked the smell of it too.I will be buying a bigger size container of this when i run out. Best hair product I have ever used.Pros:Holds hair without making it hard.Very little product needed.Smells good.Cons:Gross texture until its in your hair.

Not for Pompadours!
Glad I bought the smallest size available, 1.75oz (great trial size and price by the way, wished more brands would make this size), cause it didn't really do what I wanted it to do. Advertised as a pomade with "medium hold and high shine", I was hoping it would have enough holding power for me to style my medium hair-length in a pompadour, but it didn't. I would say it's a product with low hold. It did however live up to the "high shine" since it produces a great sheen. I also liked that it washes out with water unlike many traditional petroleum based pomades. Overall, I think it's a good finishing product for shine and for flattening out the few flyaway hairs you have after styling. But if you're looking for a more serious pomade with holding power and that's washes out with water, you might consider some other pomades sold on amazon.com such as Layrite, Suavecito or even Monkey Brains, though those pomades will not have a great shine to 'em.

Fop?! I’m a Dapper Dan man!
I’ve tried them all and this is the best. Just the right amount of weight to hold down my poofy hair. Easy to get the amount just right so it’s not too wet or dry. Lasts all day.
