The colors in this set are stunning. The ink set consists of 3 of vibrant, highly pigmented, and easy-to-mix colors, which is nice as it gives you a ton of options for color mixing if desired since it's primary colors. There is also a blackout bottle for lining and any darkening needed. The bottles are quite large, so you don't have to worry about running out quickly. This is a higher-end ink, and not meant to be priced at a value point, but you do get what you pay for with these inks. For general practice, the ink shows up well on multiple shades of practice skin and doesn’t bleed too badly during application. To test on skin, I used the blue and yellow, mixed, to shade in an area of a decade-plus-old Tinkerbell tattoo I have, just to sort of clean up the edges and make her dress “pop” again. The ink flowed in and out of the cartridge easily and evenly. The consistency was smooth. It pulled up into the needles easily and without any significant mess and entered and deposited into the skin flawlessly. After a few days, the deposited ink is healing just like all of my previous professional tattoos. There was no pain, very little itching, and the scabbing has been minimal. There was very little inflammation after depositing the ink, and very little of it seeped out during the scabbing phase of healing. The color has remained the original deposited bright red shade, and there is no evidence of degradation or any type of adverse reaction under the skin. The no-leak flip-cap design is great for minimizing spillage and mess. I can see this ink showing up in my local professional tattoo parlor and me being happy with the result. Professional-grade.

These bottles arrived in a plastic bag without any box or protection, fortunately, they weren’t damaged in any way. My wife is just starting out, so she was going to buy some cheaper ink, but the artists she’s training with use this brand, so she decided to start with it. So far she’s only used it on practice skin, but it seems to be working well and has minimal bleeding. The only thing my wife has to compare these to are the starter inks that came with the all-inclusive beginner tattoo kit. She said those inks were sort of watery and these aren’t. Additionally, she really likes the way these dispense and the fact that the lid is attached as a flip top lid. The others she has are more of a squeeze bottle with a removable (and easily misplaced) cap.

There's a reason World Famous is an apt name. Great set of inks. Mix easy, colors are vibrant, and I really love working with them. Made in the USA, so I know it's safe to use on real skin. Great company, great ink.

World Famous is a huge name/brand in the tattooing industry, it is a trusted brand made by artist for artist. I have used their inks for awhile and so when I saw it in the Vine site I knew I had to grab some to review it. This ink is well made. It’s excellent for sensitive skin types, or any skin type. It packs well. It’s well saturated. It heals nicely. It is a great ink with an excellent consistency. These colors are just beautiful and vibrant colors. I have never had any issues with World Famous inks. I will state that I was surprised to see the inks shipped in just a zip lock bag, which could cause the inks to become damaged. Any other time when I have purchased their inks (usually from their website) they have always shipped them in a sealed box and then placed that into a shipping box. This was not the case. I received these in a shipping envelope from Amazon and the items themselves were just in a simple ziplock bag. So I will state that packaging was very poor. Overall, the ink itself is amazing and at a good price. You pay for quality products and tattoo ink is no different.

This ink flows very smoothly. I tested two different sets of colors (the "Animal" set and the "Traditional" tattoo colors set) and both are very good for their respective palettes. The Traditional set is bright and while I don't know how they'd look on real skin, on test skin they go in wonderfully and pop beautifully. The Animal set is a more subtle group of colors, and they work together very well, and again work great on test skin. World Famous is a well respected brand, so I didn't expect anything less from them. These are a great group of mini bottles in curated color groupings for a very good price. Highly recommended!

You really can't go wrong with World Famous Inks, as I have discovered. Choosing the right brand for tattoo ink is super important, as they are not all the same in performance, or safety. There are a lot more choices out there that are low quality, than there are of high quality. It's so important to make sure the inks you use on someone, or yourself, are as safe as possible, right? Many of them have harmful ingredients that can make you sick, or are not sealed and sterile, so they can cause infections. When I find a brand that is safe, and performs well (bold, bright, vibrant, pigment intensity, etc), I stick with them. Especially when they are also affordable. World Famous Inks checks all my boxes. I recommend them to all my friends and family.

If you know tattoos you know World Famous. Quite an on-the-nose name; I would normally find a name like that suspicious, but these inks are the real deal--World Famous is indeed a world famous tattoo ink brand, the best of the best. If you're looking for top tier colored inks, World Famous is your brand! The red and the yellow I especially love in this set.
