LOVE LOVE LOVE this burner! we've had it for 4 years now & it finally broke down after using it almost daily the past few years of boiling water & cooking many many meals. It worked extremely well with heating up super quickly & not all big & bulky so it fit on the counter top nicely & easy to clean as well! We will be buying another one for sure!

Pro: 1. It gets hot super fast! This is the strongest feature of this hotplate. I fry eggs on medium level. Otherwise, my eggs get burnt. 2. very light to carry 3. Nonetheless, stay stable even if I place a stock pot (3 ply stainless steel 5 qt pot) on one side of the coil plate. 4. the black metal case is super easy to clean. food that gets dropped in this part do not get burned (however, if you spill food on the silver round plate under the coil, it is hard to clean. try not to fill the pot near to the rim.) cons 1. kind of fragile. use it gently. don't do stir fry that may cause friction between the pot/pan and the plate. mine went on strong for 4 months only. after doing a lot of stir fry, it applied stress on some connection and it doesn't get hot as fast. 2. two coil plates do not get the same power. left performs better than the right. if you turn on both, the performance is decreased slightly overall. however, i am able to boil water on both simultaneously, even though left sooner than the right. although my first plate slowed down in its performance due to "friction," i bought a second one thinking it will last a lot longer if I used it gently. I have used a lot of hot plates and I don't think I can find any other plate that can get hot really fast like this one.

This is a great product, I was able to cook my pasta, sauce, and vegetables as quickly as if I was using a gas range. This unit heats up as soon as you put the dial on 1. I was able to regulate the heat with the dial from 1 - 5 (5 being the hottest and highest). I was also able to keep my veggies warm by placing the dial on 1. After cooking, I turned the dial beyond 1, pass the three dots, as well as unplug the unit to ensure the unit is off and will begin to cool down. Place the unit on a stable and flat surface to ensure your pots do not tilt and spill causing injury. I could not wait to write this review for this hot plate. I was in need of one, so I came to amazon to search, and read a ton of reviews about a bunch of hot plates. My main concern after researching was that a hot plate was not really going to do the job for actual 'cooking' but more for 'warming things up'. So since the expensive ones were saying the same thing that I was assuming, I ordered this one because of the price, $17.00 for a double burner seemed crazy cheap. So I ordered it, and 2 days later it came, and I used it immediately, expecting a real let down. All I can say is I am shocked, in a good way. This hotplate gets as hot, and as fast, as my electric stove. I made an omelet super fast, I boiled water, cooked chicken, and many other things, just like on my stove. I'm not sure why there were a few reviews that said it wouldn't boil water, or that it took forever to heat up, I just don't get it. Was it plugged in and turned on?This heats up immediately, and boils water fast. What a steal.

Hello, We bought this dual hot plate to take some of the wear off our old electric oven. We tried the dual burner oven out and it works great. Cleaning the burners requires using a wrench to loosen a nut under the bottom of the burners which will probably not do. We wipe around the burners all the time with a micro fiber rag,after they cool off. The burners are well made and should last a long time. The design is good and it heats up fast. We like our new dual,burner hot plate! One strange thing that happened with our dual,bunson burner was we had it cooking on top of our stove near the burners and it got hot near the plastic box by the electric cord and,melted the cover. No damage,occurred but it did surprise us!,We guess you can not put this on metal because it will ground to it! This could have caught on,fire!,,They need a better cover on,this bunson burner to protect the cord,cover!

Product met my expectations but how the box was delivered to me was a disappointment that Amazon actually would put a destroyed box inside another box.

C'est écrit sur la page de livraison que celle-ci était effectuée par FedEx, mais en réalité c'était par Purolator, ce qui fait que j'ai failli rater ma livraison! En plus, le produit n'a pas été livré à domicile tel que demandé. J'ai dû aller dans un point de cueillette pour le chercher. Edit: Je suis revenue modifier mon premier commentaire. Au bout de 10 mois d'utilisation, une des bobines ne fonctionne plus. Qualité médiocre, comparée à celle de mon ancienne cuisinière, qui avait duré 5 ans. Je dois donc enlever 2 étoiles.
