So many of the Stevia powder products have other ingredients, especially maltodextrin, which has a much higher glycemic index than sugar its self! If you are trying to be healthy and eat healthy, especially if you are diabetic as I am, and you realize that the product you have been using for the last few years has been fighting against your effort to keep your glucose in check! We started using this pure stevia a few months ago and it is amazing, sweet, and you only need a fraction of what you used in the past. Less is definitely more with pure stevia, and a small package lasts us months! I highly recommend this brand of stevia. It will save you money and might also save your health!

Over the last few years I have been trying to control my weight and decrease the possibility of adult onset diabetes by controlling my sugar intake.It is no secret that most available sugar substitutes have been implicated with the possibility of significant side effects. However, research showed that natural Stevia leaf products have little or no significant side effect. As a result, about 2 years ago, I started to use one of the major brands of Stevia . Sadly, most of the major brands of Stevia, are not pure Stevia, but mixed with Erythritol or some other questionable sugar substitute . About a year ago, the medical journals began to talk about possible significant problems with Erythritol, so I wanted to switch to a product that was just pure Stevia. This Durelife product fit the bill perfectly and I have been happily using it for the last year.It is a pure Stevia extract with no additives, so it eliminates any oft the possible side effects of Erythritol and/or any of the other questionable additives.. It is very concentrated and only a small amount is needed. The package goes a long, long way. One micro-spoon (1/16 tsp,enclosed in the package) is the equivalent of I tsp of sugar, so recipe conversions are easily adapted. Although, it may seem pricier than the brand names, because it is 8-16 times more concentrated, it is actually way less expensive.I have been using it daily with coffee and any recipe that requires sugar. I can detect no aftertaste.I give this the product the highest ratings for quality and healthfulness.

This Stevia sold by Duralife is possibly my best consumable product purchase ever on Amazon. High quality and purity make this a joy to use.If you're experiencing any bitterness it's probably because you are using too much of the fine powder. I use only 1/8 teaspoon in a 20+oz coffee mug. The blend is perfect for me, but I have a sweet tooth. I go a bit overboard for my double serving of oatmeal by using 1/2 teaspoon, but it sweetens that much with no bitterness. I use the same amount in a large bowl of cereal. I use one tablespoon to sweeten a gallon batch of limeade.No aftertaste like with aspartame and sugar alcohols, which I avoid because of the know neurological side effects. I am changing my initial negative review of Duralife Stevia. Just needed to figure out the right amount to use in my drinks, I had been using too much. It took me a couple of days to adjust to a new Stevia, but now I stir vigorously into my cold drinks and it dissolves in about 30 seconds. It’s half the price of what I was buying and I use a lot less of it. And it tastes pretty good!Highly concentrated so you don’t need much. It DOES have an aftertaste. And it’s difficult to dissolve in cold liquid.

Amazon requested I drop my 2 cents worth, and while I usually ignore Amazon's requests for a product review, I'm glad to respond to this one! I have been using 100% Stevia now for years with my tea. I've used, at one time or another, ~~every brand of 100% pure Stevia available at Amazon~~.The Durelife 100% pure Stevia is by far the best and the most economical I have found here. Durelife is $9 to $20 or more cheaper than the other brands, yet it is also the sweetest (meaning you use LESS of it to sweeten your drink!) than the competing brands. I'm also having great luck with it dissolving quickly at room temp and not clumping up like many other brands of pure Stevia will do if the drink is not hot! I recommend to anyone who uses pure Stevia that he or she should try out this brand! (Review requested by Amazon, not the seller, and no reward offered or received.)

This stuff is as pure as I have been able to find and am pleased with it. Such a fine powder and smooth texture. This bag is going to last me a LONG time as I mainly use it for my tea everyday. I will warn future users to mind what the manufacturer advises for measuring amounts to take to heart. It comes with a 1/16 plastic measuring spoon that you want to use. Large amounts will not taste good, so be careful when first using the product.The only real issue I have with the product is the tiny measuring spoon. I wish that they put it into a larger sealed wrap of some sort. As the spoon is the same color as the sweetener, and I had to very carefully pour the bag into a large mixing bowl as it was at the very bottom of the bag.Based on other natural sweeteners that I have bought through the years, this is on the high end pricing but you get what you pay for and this is worth it.

This an amazing product. I love that it is pure, without additives. It is sweet with a clean taste. I like to transfer it to a glass container. Because it is a fine powdery product, and to keep the dust to a minimum, use a Canning funnel and a spoon to slowly transfer it to the jar. Do not pour it or you will have a cloud of stevia. I will definitely buy this brand again as it is a great value for the money and a wonderful product.
