I ordered this Berglander Camping Mess Kit for an upcoming camping weekend. I really like that this set is lightweight. Even more likable is the bowl, plate, and coffee cup are made of a durable plastic material. There is a little flexibility to them similar to a frisbee rather than them being ridgid, so I'm not concerned with them breaking if I drop them. Given the plastic items are safe in the dishwasher and microwave makes this set perfect for my camping needs and I love that they come with travel bag.

This is exactly what I was looking for, it's a perfect mess kit (as they're called) Everything came looking and functioning exactly as pictured. It's made well, feels like high quality, and I'm willing to bet it will last. Excellent find! It's a great deal for the price, so I plan on buying a couple more for anyone else who might camp with me.

I have taken this mess kit on several car camping trips and I love how easily the they clean up. They are also lightweight enough for hikers. I do wish the plate was a bit bigger and the bowl was a bit smaller. I think it will be more of a compact kit if the bowl was smaller. Overall, this is a very good mess kit.

Full place setting of dishes with utensils in its own carrying bag. Plastic and sturdy. Great for camping. Cleans up easily.

For what it's worth, it's a decent kit to go camping with. I can't really place its use on any practical situations though. It's too bulky to go backpacking with. I'd rather go with a set with a bigger plate than this kit for auto camping. I can't use this at home since it's cheap plastic material and not meant for the use. It's a complete set for one person, but it just feels unnecessarily bulky for the comfort it brings in usage in any camping situation for my taste. The plate could have been bigger and the bowl could have been a bit smaller.

This mess kit was very good for eating on campouts. It is durable and holds up in the pack. It is also easy to clean and makes messes nicer.

This kit has everything you need dish wise While camping. The plates, cups silverware, all good quality, easy to clean and if you’re not boring like me that you come in some nice colors. I like black.

A good looking, high quality single place setting that will be easy to pack along when I’m car camping. I’ve already swapped out the metal utensils (knife, fork and spoon) with a lighter set of plastic utensils because I don’t want to accidentally score the surface of the plate with a serrated knife blade.

This was a great choice for my sons dorm. Comes in its own felt bag, utensils are included. Takes up very little space and super easy to clean!!

It seems to be a very sturdy set with a very good sized bowl and cup, however if the plate could be an inch larger, it would make the entire thing essentially perfect. Cutlery is stainless steel and a nice weight as well. Good set for car camping, which is what we purchased it for.Why only the 3-stars, then? Both plates sent in the set are BLACK. One was supposed to be GREY. For the price of this (it’s fairly costly for what it is), the pieces should be the correct colour.
