These table lamps are gorgeous. It is a two piece set. They come completely disassembled which was a little concerning as I have never ordered a lamp online. I've only purchased lamps in store so I was concerned about the shade being damaged or it not coming with a shade at all. But this one arrived so well packaged. The shade was wrapped around the lamp base. The socket was hanging out of the lamp base and I was scared it was broken but it wasn't it was unscrewed for shipping purposes. Anyways, it's a pretty straight forward process as far as assembling them. You lay the shade out and then place the rings at the top and bottom and roll the shade around the ring until it's completely covered. It's held on by some type of Velcro material. But it's super sturdy once it's on. The lamb base is this beautiful white washed faux wood. They match the rest of my decor so well. I would highly recommend these lamps.

I didn’t realize these would need to be assembled however they are fairly easy to do. It doesn’t state this in the photos BUT does if you scroll down the page in the listing. The hardest part was figuring out the best way to assemble the shades as I didn’t see that part of the process in the instructions that were sent- just how to put the already assembled shade on. (I did go to the listing and did see instructions how to do the shades after we had already gotten them on. lol) I had my son help and he held the 2 rings and I placed each end (upper and lower) of the shade onto them affixing them via the Velcro they have. Then he carefully rolled the wire portion while I followed securing the shade along the way. It actually worked ok and we assembled them both in about a minute. I opted for the color “wood tone” and I quite like it. It has a beige color with a brushed white weathered look with light beige fabric shade. The resin base resembles real wood well enough that you wouldn’t know by looking at them. They actually have sort of a ceramic feel to them. These have some weight to them but aren’t super heavy. The bottoms have a felt covering to protect your table surface. I do wish the cords were a tad longer but they are a pretty standard 60” long. I was able to place remote controlled rechargeable puck lights in them and that works great. All in all I do recommend these. Only deducted a star for the assembly not being clear for the shades in the instructions that came with these. One shouldn’t have to run back to the listing looking for this. These look pretty in our home and I’m happy to have them.

These PORTRES 24.5" Farmhouse Table Lamp Set of 2 for Bedroom Table Desk Lamps showed up needing a small amount of assembly. Not too tough or complex. Took maybe 10 minutes. However, i wasnt a big fan of this style lamp shape. Theres velcro at top & bottom and you kind of roll 2 metal rings with shade between them. I had to do it a few times so they were even. I'm a bit picky but shouldn't everyone get what they order & want? Other than shade setup; i like the lamps. I like the shades too after i got everything even. They feel very strong with the resin. They go with darn near every room in my house. I love the "matte" look too. They're a nice size. Big enough to be helpful but small enough to fit in your spaces without being overbearing. You turn them on with a small chain. One great thing about these is they have 2.1A plugs to charge your electronics quickly. Very cool.

fire hazard! One of these lamps exploded the lightbulb when switched on. The light bulb was low wattage, and by no means the wrong bulb. When we switched the lamp on, there were flying sparks and caused a burn in the fingers turning on the lamp. Scary moment. Beware! I tried to upload a picture but the system wont allow it maybe due to guidelines.

These lamps are even prettier in person! They came very carefully packaged to prevent any damage during shipping (the shade rings & accessories are on the backside underneath cardboard) They were super easy to assemble, instructions were clear and easy to follow along, I was a little concerned when I seen the shades attached to the rings via strong velcro however, they turned out great! Very sturdy and durable, the shades don’t tilt or sit lopsided and the base is heavy duty & beautifully crafted. Even with a darker shade on the lamp it lets out better light than some of our white shade lamps. Very pleased with this purchase. Quality at this price is excellent. At the time of this review i believe they were listed for $70 (wood tone) which would be $35 per lamp!! Great buy. Definitely recommend

This lamp set is fairly easy to assemble, I had both lamps ready to plug in about 15 minutes. You also assemble the lamp shades. The only thing I would have changed is to have built in USB charging ports. The wood tone is painted, but it looks like real wood from a distance.

Easy to put together lamps very nice quality perfect for bedside or living room. Nice amount of brightness.

These came in and my wife loved them. We have a sofa table that they looked great on. They lived there for about a month before my wife accidentally killed one of them. We found out that the resin material these are made from cannot withstand a 2.5 foot drop onto tile floor. So now we just have one good looking lamp. Assembly is very easy for the most part. The lamp itself is separated into two pieces so you just have to screw those together. The lampshade is only a bit of a struggle because you have to line up the metal frames and roll them consistently to get the shape right. I prefer getting lampshades that I don't have to roll but I understand the need to save space and packing for shipping. What I liked about it: Looks great. Works well. What I didn't like: Lampshade is a bit of a pain to put together. My wife knocked one over onto our tile floor and shattered the base. Overall, I recommend these lamps but be cautious about placement.
