You cannot have too many spice jars. For all the adventurous cooks (like me), who like to collect spices from markets and specialty stores or bring them home from abroad in plastic or paper wraps and then lose them in the deep recesses of cabinets and freezer, these spice jars are the solution. These likely should not go into dishwasher as they feel a little flimsy, but they are large and hold about 6 oz. A practical item!

I recently had a couple spice jars fall off their shelf and break their plastic lids. These jars to the rescue! They were perfect replacements. Easy to fill and easy to use.

These little jars hold bout 2/3 of a cup, and have a foil sealing disk to keep the contents fresh. The disk has no adhesive, which is good because it has to be removed to get at the contents. The lids have shaker holes and a small hole for a measuring spoon. The feel pretty sturdy and will be great to have if you buy spices in bulk. I'm going to use some of mine as gifts, after filling them with Korean red chili pepper flakes (gochugaru), and keep some for myself.

These are basic larger-sized spice jars which are great for the spices we seem to use a lot of. They're plastic and have no odors. They have a shaker at the top and I can flip up the other side to use with a measuring spoon. I'm very happy with them.

The media could not be loaded.  Initially when this spice jars arrived they had the kind of a weird smell to them of plastic may be but later as you can see from the picture I Filled them with water and kept it that way for 2 long days.After that I threw away the water and kept it for drying overnight and in the morning when I checked it all the foul smell was gone and jars looked so fresh.I filled them with all the spices I had at home and thats it. They are perfect now and of great use in the kitchen. Secondly, the quality of jar's sturdiness is good and so are their lids (they are smooth to close and open) but as it had that weird kind of smell I'm reluctant to give 5 stars.
