I bought this set while looking for a lead free decanter. Ravenscroft seemed to fit the bill perfectly. These have a magnificent sparkle for lead free crystal. The decanter itself has a nice weight to it, thanks to the heavy base. The stopper is solid crystal, ground to fit in the neck perfectly. This will actually give a better seal than almost any other method and won't deteriorate over time, like cork or rubber. This is clearly hand blown, and beautifully crafted. In mine, there are two tiny bubbles, barely noticeable, that may not be there on a machine formed piece, giving away the fact that these are created by hand. I'll take the bubbles over an ugly seam any day, though! The glasses are just the right weight; heavy enough to remind you that you have a drink with drinking (most likely, anyways), but light enough to bring with you back and forth from the grill. The bubble in the bottom adds extra character to an already gorgeous piece of seamless blown crystal. Again, it is clear that these are hand crafted. There are imperfections in wall thickness and roundness, but again, that is to be expected with hand crafted glass. And again, it's so minimal, you'll never notice unless you inspect them very carefully up close. Even machine formed glass will have imperfections, and an ugly seam! My only complaints are trivial, and to be expected. The bubble is a little difficult to clean. I've taken to turning the glass at an angle, with the bottom just past 90 degrees, and letting the water gently run through the bubble as I spin the glass in my hands. Seems to allow water in and out without clogging the hole. I hand dry the glasses immediately and leave them right side up to show any water in the bubble to drain. Realistically, though, the inside of the bubble shouldn't be getting all that dirty in the first place. Secondly, these are fingerprint magnets! Again, perfectly clear crystal with no texture or pattern, meant to showcase what's inside is going to have this problem. So take to holding the glasses from the bottom where the prints are hidden against the sparkle of the bubble and pouring the decanter with a serving cloth, like a sommelier (assuming you care that much. Otherwise, just deal with it like a normal person). Again, something like this is to be expected given the nature of the pieces. There is no pattern to disguise anything, and I think they look phenomenal regardless. I would highly recommend this set. It's a beautiful piece of work that looks classy, but not flashy; it is elegant in its simplicity. It has the sparkle you would expect from crystal without the flair of more traditional decanter sets. And most importantly, it's lead free, so as not to ruin the fine spirit you would undoubtedly be showcasing inside of it. As a side note, 2.5" ice balls fit perfectly inside the glasses.

Really excellent customer service. I bought this as a Christmas present for my best friend. The glasses came perfect, but the decanter was chipped around the rim. I called the company directly because I couldn’t figure out how to get in touch with them through Amazon. The man who picked up the phone was very gracious and helpful. He sent me a replacement decanter very quickly. It was too late for Christmas, but I was able to show my friend, the broken one the new one arrived in perfect condition. It’s a beautiful set and he loved it.

I purchased this decanter with glasses set for my husband as a Father's Day Gift. He loves it!! Each piece is beautifully crafted and it looks like the picture on Amazon or better. We are elated that it's dish washer safe, too! My husband is excited to use it soon.

I love this decanter! I was pretty new to all this so I spent a month and some change researching. Alot of debate within the community of lead crystal and how after even just a night of storage, the lead can leach into your liquor. Glass, typically however, is cheap, unattractive and many come with plastic or cork stoppers (which are BAD). This set corrected all the flaws of the lead crystal with none of the drawbacks of regular glass. It features a nice, heavy set of DoFs and the decanter is substantial. It has an all glass stopper which fits snugly into place. It is crystal that is lead free, so I don't need to worry about poisoning myself or my friends when they visit lol. It really is the best of both worlds. I highly recommend this set. I started my search hoping to only spend around 30-40 but I had a gift card and spent some extra and it was DEFINITELY worth.

I'm the type of guy who loves traditional items, with a modern style. These beauty's absolutely hit the nail on the head. I've just started to appreciate a nice glass of Whisky after a hard day in the office. I wanted something which would display my Whisky beautifully, and with glasses I could offer to friends, and know they was being treated well. The decanter just looks stunning, so stylish with it's beautiful curves and crystal clear glass, who wouldn't be impressed to see that just sitting there looking all inviting. The glasses are a pure joy to use, they have a healthy weight to them. You know by the weight alone these glasses mean the business, I get a little kick when I pass a glass to a friend and you can see the surprise in his/her face when she takes the glass, it simply makes an enjoyable experience with friends... Even Better! As with all Amazon Prime products, the delivery was excellent. and very well packaged. When I received the box containing my set, it felt like Christmas. When you open the box, you'll discover two more Ravenscroft boxes, One for the Decanter, and the other has the 4 glasses. Each box is extremely well packed, and the glasses are individually wrapped in packaging to ensure they arrive is perfect condition. I cannot praise this Ravenscroft set enough. If you are looking for a touch of pure class, this is a must have purchase.

As a gift for my husband, this far exceeded what I expected for the price paid. The decanter and glasses are of a nice heavy weight, (they feel expensive). The Crystal is perfectly clear, and the set is timeless. Packaging was fantastic. The entire order was covered with stickers of CHRYSTAL inside ... no way not to notice. The stopper is crystal as well, so the whole set is great. A very minimalist retro style. And while taste and fashion may change, I don't think this will ever Not fit any ones decor.

Excellent quality with great glass thickness. Nice heavy weight. This set will look great on your bar. I will be buying another.

I bought this set as a gift for my husband. He is a frequent whiskey drinker. It is very very good quality and it looks really nice. It has a simple yet, somewhat sophisticated look. He loves it. He has been showing it off every chance he gets. He likes the bubble in the bottom for some reason. Prior to purchase I did some research on the lead-free feature. I didn't realize it was even a thing until then. I looked around for similar products and finding any that were lead free was pretty difficult. I definitely recommend this product.
